      Next gen SoC on the Nova 5T (Kirin 980, 7nm process Vs Kirin 970, 10nm process), but otherwise the P20 Pro being a former flagship is going to be better in every way.
      The P seies Huawei are their Photograpic focussed phones and have been highly regarded for their photographic capabilities.
      The Nova series are the midrange brand

    I will say, if you use a lot of Bluetooth devices, this phone is not for you as it's only Bluetooth 4. I have one and my Bluetooth headphones are practically unusable on the move. I've followed a whole bunch of support instructions for very little improvement. It's a great phone otherwise, but it's a real shame that the Bluetooth is substandard.

    While this is an awesome phone, and I still love mine, I think you'd be better off buying something newer. The Mate20 Pro is one generation newer at least, and comes up around this price occasionally.

      agree,I wouldn't spend 599 for p20 pro now,it's an old phone,sub 500 maybe.mate 20 has been as low as 599 at on point,and that was a few months ago,or spend a little more on mate 20 pro,or p30

      twilight is way better. I used it when it was 1200. Now getting for Mrs. Yes there are new version in P series but still it is one of best hardwares I have used. :)

        Huawei charge $260 I believe, but the problem is they factory reset your phone. I have too much stuff I need so I'm not going through Huawei atm.

    Amazing phone! I bought mine in May 2018, still amazing, great battery and camera.

    Although there are P30 Pro and Mate 20 (and even Mate 30 Pro without Google) after that, that's a very good price.

    This is probably the best sub $600 phone you can buy. It's a flagship so has features they sometimes skimp on at this price range (nfc), and it has proper Google because it was before all that stuff happened and is not affected.

    Battery life is amazing and on the phone I have stayed amazing since launch (about 1.5 years)
