Be great if the OP could put "SUNDAY DEAL" in the title, for better quicker reference.

    • Not that hard to just search: "McDonald's" then click on the store and scroll down to this deal.

Also not that hard to bookmark the page.

      • +2

The original post with the full list of deals and daily update is accessible from the top navbar (Pages -> McDonald's Nov Deals). No need to search, no need to bookmark.

    • +1

Why? If you dont see "expired" you can get it.

      • Probably just because you can't get it yet, the previous deal still runs until 3am. Not sure if this one starts then or not until 10:30?

You can make it healthier by swapping/removing ingredients.

I change the fries to a garden salad & the drink to No Sugar. I remove the buns & also remove any high calorie dressings.

The meat itself is healthy & filling.

      • You realise the meat is the most calorie dense part of the burger? It’s salted and always drips of oil…

Btw I’m not saying don’t eat McDonald’s for the record, but what you’ve done about removing the bun and dressing is (almost) redundant.

        Btw not me negging you

          It's not just about Calorie-In Calorie-Out.

It's about eating the right types of calories that make a person feel full for longer.

Carbohydrates & Sugars hinder the body's ability to sense when it has had enough to eat. They also make the person hungry after a short time.

Proteins and Fats, and specially meat, will make a person feel fuller & the total calorie intake for the day will be less than on a carb-based diet.

          • @vikvance: Yes and no. Agree not just calorie in and calorie out but few caveats to that

Carbohydrates are definitely able to keep you feel full (especially when you consider the glycaemic index). In having said that McDonalds certainly doesn't use anything but white bread so I suppose that point in moot.

Staunchly disagree with your statement of proteins and fats. You can easily eat 200g meat (a small to average steak) or 200g bread (which is 1/3 of a full loaf). You don't need to be a genius for someone to tell you which one will make you fuller. Also consider protein to fat ratio (and McDonalds is certainly very fat / oily / greasy) which will determine how "full" you will feel - and it certainly will not keep you full for longer.

  • so annoyed i've got a date planned today. she'll definitely know I'm a cheap ass if we go to maccas, so i'll have to skip this :(

  • Can I take my wife’s phone with me to collect two orders from drive through ? Anyone that has done this ? Thanks in advance

    • +1

      T's and C's say 1 per order.

    • +1

Some permit it and some are on 1 order per car . Just be prepared to go in if need be .

    • +2

Just go in the punch the codes into self serves

      • +5

I just skim read this as "Just go in and punch the c%^&$ into self serves" hahaha which brings a whole new meaning LOL

      • +1

Wash your hands after that please.

      • Man what horrible grammar I have presented there

        • +1

So I can increase total to 3 of these at Kiosk?

          • @capslock janitor: You can sit there all day and just keeping doing transactions.

            Code.

Finish order or whatever it is.

            Pay.

            Receipt.

            Profit.

But we have got to do it from different angles…. Again and again and again and again and again.

    • +2

I ordered 2 in the drive through. I just said my wife has a code too, and gave them the same generic code. If they won't let you, just get one in the drive through and then walk in to use the kiosks to get another.

      • +1

Thanks. That’s what I did. Ordered two on the drivethrough and it all worked out

Have seen this same meal often for $5.95 so it's like a $0.95 savings for a true OzBargainer who would never dream of wasting $13.25 on this

  • +1

The app says it’s $7.45 full price?
Wonder if this meal is usually available.

    • Have it too for 7.60. empowered to stay healthy

    • The app seems to be broken in the past few days. When they had the 2 McChicken meals for $8, I had to ask them to scan the barcode on my phone.

    • The app says it’s $7.45 full price?
Wonder if this meal is usually available.

It can be obtained using the Re-order function on the app.

E.g. the 2 small McChicken meals cost $19.10 if I add them manually, but if I click Re-order then I can buy them for $13.90.

Can we really stop posting this macca's deals? We obviously know it's there when you open the app. Why even post it? just so annoying

    • Because not everyone open the app everyday.

    • You made an account just to complain about deals? FYI you can always just hide deals. CTRL + F 'hide' and you can hide posts from specific users/stores.

The 131 likes on this post explains why we should continue to post these

Some people… Don't know about these deals

  • They should call this the Oxymoron Meal.
