Purchase Any Milwaukee M18 FUEL Power Pack (2 Pieces or above) or Booster Pack & Swap Existing Skin for New Skin @ Sydney Tools

40

Went to my nearby Sydney Tools today. Saw the deal.

Asked the guy, offer valid for minimum purchase of a two piece M18 fuel cordless power pack Milwaukee tool. Bring skin of another brand (listed: Makita, Bosch Blue, DeWalt, Hikoki/Hitachi, Hilti, Snap-on) that you want to change with. Maximum of three skin exchange.

Great for those changing brands. Also great deal to upgrade stuff (changing a Makita impact driver to Milwaukee Angle grinder saves close to $200). As usual, batteries not included.

  • How much do you pay after trading? Not enough detail really..

  • More info is here: https://www.milwaukeetool.com.au/campaign/redemption-day-2/

I had a look at it and it looks more aimed at construction tradies. I was trying to find a deal that would suit me (automotive DIY) but can't find a good deal.

  • What's the cheapest purchase that then qualifies for the 3 skin swap

    • I had a quick look at the 2 piece power packs (I think that means 5AH+ batteries), assuming they would be the cheapest and it was around the $650 mark. It was the Drill, impact driver, 2x 5Ah Batteries and a charger.

  • Cheapest is the drill and impact about $650.
Get the kit with the extra 12v battery if you dont need it they sell on ebay for about $50.
Skin swaps are free up to 3 with 60 per store. Sadly its instore only. Otherwise i would be doing it.

The same milwaukee redemption 2.0 deal is nearly all tool places aka trade tools, gasweld, adelaide tools etc.

  • Only 60 per store .. lol

  • I try and pick kits which also give a redemption tool, Check out their page every 3 months. https://www.milwaukeetool.com.au/redemptions/
Sell tools you already have and get heaps of tools and batteries for free.

M18ONEPP2A2-502C 2 piece Kit get a free 12v LED light stand

    M18ONEPP2A2-502C 6 piece $1500 get a jigsaw

Combined with 3 trade in's works out well

    • I got the 6-piece and it's all fantastic, in-store at Total Tools. They gave me a bunch of free merch. The jig-saw takes 2-3 days to arrive after you redeem it. The bag you get it in, is however too small to store all of it comfortably.

      • Yes atm the 6 piece kit had good value with the current redemption, I prefer the $1999 10 piece kit though as the dollar worth is higher, Especially when there was 2x12ah battery by redemption for june.

I usually buy a 6 or 10 piece kit every 3 months and claim the redemption and keep a few tools and sell the rest separately which makes my money back.

2 weeks ago was the total tools $400 Cash back on Milwaukee tools. Bought the 2 kits and spent the $400 on the backpack Vacuum which gave me 3 redemptions (LED, 8ah Battery, Jigsaw) which will save me $1k+

        • Yes the $400 cashback was one I took advantage of too, got some extra kits for the drill, plates for the saws.
