eBay Black Friday AirPods DEAL is FAKE !!! (with evidence) - not the product

Hi,
I found out that today eBay's Black Friday AirPods deal is fake. I have evidence.
At 10:00 AM, the AirPods is SOLD OUT, and they said 100 units are sold. However, on the listing, on the top left of the listing picture, it said 5 sold in last hour :) (Forget to take pictures, but I showed to my brother)
At 2:00 PM, the AirPods, one again, SOLD OUT, and they said a total of 200 units are sold. But then, on the top left of the listing picture, it said 6 sold in last hour, BUT, on quantity, it said 11 sold in 24 hours :))) Please check attached pictures.

Please check link:

Then I'm too bored to check again at 4 PM.

I can say that, they said 100 units, but actually are 5 (at 10 AM), then 6 units (2 PM), so don't be upset if you can't grab one.

And is there any authority I can contact to report them?

Edit: I don't understand why English is you guys first language but you guys could not understand what the title means. The DEAL is FAKE, not the product, OKAY?

    Cool story.

You do understand people have apps that automatically have the item stored in cart, apply the coupon continuously the moment the servers hit the timestamp right?

Why not just work the extra half a day and save yourself the trouble and buy the airpods…instead of drinking your own poison and dealing with us trolls on ozbargain.

Should just tell them that the AirPods 2 is so yesterday. Only Airpods pro count.

LMAO,why don't you check actual listing on desktop and you can see full sell history.

    • Does it still show that?

      • Yeah it does but I don’t think many people know how to get to it.

Umm…. so when I click the link to view your images my anti virus gives me a warning for adware… fml, so screw the fake deal…

    Have a snickers

  • Its a silly promotion. Puts people off using ebay rather than staying in their eco system.

    • 100 pce was sold in less than one minute.

      • That’s very possible seeing 24 million people in Australia.

    • How is eBay an ecosystem?

      • Ebays wants to becomes your go to shopping site, they are even trying to get grocery to work on there. This is why there is constant coupons. They want you look at ebay first and buy. Like consumers are doing on Amazon (not so much in oz). Its the whole idea of the plus program. TO keep you engaged with ebay. This is what all the big providers want. Instead this promotion just gets customers excited and then disappoints.

  • Not gonna lie I was expecting more evidence than this

    • Do you normally lie?

      • Who doesn't?

  • I love how the whole theory hangs on one little detail which could most likely be explained. Wild guess some sort of DB/LB/Cache issue.

    This post is fake

  • The problem is you thought you could get one

Why even bother with these things? Just pay the market price (if you really want them), get them and enjoy.

  • hey mate. the system might not be accurate to display the total of transactions. We can't say the deal is fake based on the message you see on the page.

If it was fake I wouldn't have been able to get it twice considering that I've done nothing special but only to had the right tools, followed the tips properly and had the time dedicated for it. One for my self from the previous sale and one for my friend this time.
      This post is fake. Period.
