May I ask how you got that price? Its $330 and with the $50 cashback it brings it to $280.
Edit: If you got to more sellers Amazon AU is selling for $289 which would bring it to $239 after cashback however it says dispatched within 1-2 months.

      • +1

        Sorry, I'll edit my post

Select Amazon AU as the seller, current price is $289

  • +7

REP……CAN YOU CONFIRM HOW MANY TRANSACTION PER ACCOUNT?

    • +8

      One transaction per user @raiseyoursteaks

      Thanks

      • Darn, was hoping to get another in

        • +17

You should make it explicitly state one transaction per account in the T&Cs like the DJs 2o0% offer from today as I think will open it up for interpretation otherwise.

          e.g. David Jones
          NOTES
20% Cashback offer is capped at $20 in one transaction and limited to one redemption per customer during the promotional period.

          e.g. Amazon
          NOTES
20.00% Cashback is capped at $50.00 available for orders made between 5.00pm to 6.00pm AEDT

          • +1

@JDogman: ^^ this so much, can't tell if they intentionally make it this misleading or what..

            • +1

@spoonfed: Misleading for sure. They should at least honour the 20% on the highest value order…. up to $50 cap.

          • @JDogman: I second that @JDogman… they didn't explicitly mention. I was going to pull the trigger on a few more orders.

          • +10

            @JDogman: Hey,

Unfortunatly we got beaten to posting the offer and couldn't control the T&Cs on the post. We understand that this isn't your fault and have decided to also honor all user's transactions that came through during the flash sale even if they made multiple transactions.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend :)

            • @gotyourback: Pretty sure the T&Cs were copied from your website.

Thanks for honouring everyone's multiple orders, you have just made their day!

              • @bongo007: Thank you @gotyourback - doing the right thing!

            • +1

@gotyourback: Thank you for honouring all orders

            • +2

              @gotyourback: Hey rep,
The T&C on your own SB page say "orders", but you replied me "One transaction per user"
So I followed your comment, played safe and only ordered once
Now you say you will honor multiple transactions
I am after 3x10tb WD external HDD. I would have ordered multiple times.
How about this, repeat the same 20% again tonight?

              • +1

@TanedaR: In the same boat, I completed 3 separate orders then cancelled 2 after reading the max 1 per user. Pretty confusing and unfair.

            • @gotyourback: Wish this notification came sooner. After I saw that it was single transaction only I cancelled all my orders except the first one….

      • thanks for confirming.

      • +1

are multiple orders allowed if it stays below the $50 cap?

      • +3

What if you had 2 orders, cancelled them both and create a new single order. Would that count?

      • +4

I ordered 2 items (one after another) but cancelled thr first one. Will cashback apply?

        • +1

Keen to know this as well

      • +1

Are you sure? All the other times it was unlimited transactions.

      • +11

WHAT THE HELL… I just placed 3 separate orders. Nothing in your T&Cs mentioned this!

        • YOU ARE LUCKY!!!

      • +1

Nice if this was mentioned anywhere in the notes or T&C's because as it is it makes it seem quite the opposite:

"available for orders made between 5.00pm to 6.00pm AEDT"

No mention of any limits apart from a $50 cap.

      • this is crap
now going to cancel single transaction orders 10 orders

please be heaps more clearer next time

    • Glad I came back to this thread after sniffing for deals. Cancelled all but my first order

  • +2

    Work for subscribe and save?

    • Wondering this too, but Rep kinda stopped replying to comments, unfortunately.

    • +2

Nope, Shopback page says it doesn't apply to subscribe and save

      • Thanks for clarifying this. Almost pulled the trigger on an item with sub and save.

      • What! Thats kinda lame :/

  • +5

Oculus rift S is still at the bargain price of $568, highly recommend it as you can also stack 10% cashback with ZIP pay. I guess with a cashback cap of $50 on SB and $50 on Zip that's a $100 discount.

    • would you get this or Quest with Oculus Link?

Answer quickly if you don't mind.

      • +1

Do you like PC vr gaming or do you like Quest VR gaming? Quest games are lower in fidelity and aren't as full fledged as PC ones.

Quest: low refresh rate, front heavy, not as comfortable to wear. However, OLED display produces nicer blacks. Has finger tracking but likely going to be a gimmick. Reduced quality of images due to video compression sent over the cable. Wire-free VR is easy to share around and you can play anywhere as long as you have battery power.

Rift S: Higher refresh rate. LCD screen has less screen door effect despite being lower resolution due to pixel matrix layout. colour not as nice as OLEDs. Higher 80hz refresh rate. always Tethered to your PC, but your games will look better over the Quest because your PC is not sending encoded video.

probably some other things I've missed but I'm too busy shopping atm to research.

        • I would prefer PC based VR but mobile would be a nice distraction on the side for simpler games. The Quest with Oculus Link will support it though, giving you the best of both worlds kinda. But finger recognition will be coming to the Quest soon, and this is a big deal. I'm not sure if the Rift S will get that.

I'm not sure if Quest will run on battery power when hooked up to the PC. That would be a bummer if so.

I have a small room to play in where my gaming setup is, and with my PS VR I have bumped into things with it. So with wireless, I'd be able to go to another room with no computers or TV in it and play there.

Quest: low refresh rate, front heavy, not as comfortable to wear.

Yeah this is a big concern. The front heavy part.

The ideal headset for me would be a mash up of multiple different headsets. I think I'd like Vive Cosmos with wireless support and finger tracking. It allows you to flip up the goggles so you can see the world around you when you need to. And isn't so front heavy.

but your games will look better over the Quest because your PC is not sending encoded video.

So, are you basically getting a streamed picture like with Steamlink? Does this introduce latency or artifacting?

          • @lostn:

So, are you basically getting a streamed picture like with Steamlink? Does this introduce latency or artifacting?

There's overall a lower resolution. The outer parts of the image that is sent will be in a lower resolution, while the center part of the video is higher res.

There's also a few extra frames of input lag. Not sure how to quantify that. Most blogs and YT video reviews will explain

            https://arstechnica.com/gaming/2019/09/the-future-of-oculus-…

Quest also has adjustable IPD (interpupillary distance) but the Rift S does not have hardware based IPD control. If your eyes don't happen to be in the sweet spot for the Rift S, you should consider the Quest as it has a wider IPD range.

Regarding the comfort, weight distribution and fit, people on Reddit have taken measures like adding power banks on the back of the unit to make it more balanced and completely replacing the facial interface / headstrap to make it comfortable to wear. I did a quick look though and some of the 3rd party replacements do cost a bit of money to ship from overseas. Some of these mods might be unnecessary if you're keeping your play sessions short though.

            • @scrimshaw: Oh, sounds like I'll be waiting for revision 2 then.

  • thank you, just placed an order, hopefully will track properly

  • will this work with amazon credit given from amazon?

  • "ShopBack Extension does not work on Amazon. Be sure to clickthrough from ShopBack before adding to cart and placing an order in order for Cashback to track."

Guess I need to cancel again and redo then, as I did this through the chrome extension

Edit: Although it says "30-11 14:23 Amazon Flash Sale Clicked" in my account, so has that worked then?

    • +1

What??????? so all my amazon orders from yesterday wont work?

      • Responded to wrong comment!

    • +1

Good luck, REP just confirmed its 1 transaction only. I have a feeling i'll have to dispute my order with shopback in a week or 2.

      • +3

        As will I

        • +2

And now i can't order the rest of what i was going to. Geez it blows when they stuff up the terms and omit critical facts. :(

    • Hey Guys

Don't worry it works fine! Its an error on our side. Thanks for flagging with us.

    • I cancelled my order after seeing this then realised it wouldn't track a second transaction =(

  • Bought some ram at a fantastic price and stacked with zip pay.

    https://www.amazon.com.au/Corsair-LPX-32GB-16GB-Memory/dp/B0…

  • Hi OP. if the online store has a coupon, will this promo stack on top of this?

    • doesn't say anything about it in the terms and conditions OP @gotyourback?

  • +1

Is one transaction per user on a per shopback account, or a per Amazon account?

  • +1

can i buy things from amazon usa via amazon au?

    • Same question, bought Samsung EVO select, appeared to ship from US.

      • i compromised. hopefully the Corsair RAM (AU stock) can work with the existing Hynix 8GB on my laptop. only 2 ram slots on my laptop (as usual)

        both RAMs are SO-DIMM DDR4-2666 PC21300 CL19.

  • Hi rep, I can't find a particular item I'm after. Searching for Kingdom Hearts Xbox on normal amazon.com.au shows the result I want for $23, but searching for the same thing after clicking through from Shopback - It's nowhere to be found. What's up with that?

    • Hey sephiris,

We can see the Kingdom Hearts Xbox when we click though?

      Maybe try again?

      • Thanks for getting back to me :) I think the confusion is because it defaults to searching the Amazon Global Store instead of "All"

  • Thanks OP - that's very generous of SB.

(although I wished it was unlimited.. …man that will in insane)

  • +1

Does this apply to Amazon Marketplace third-party sellers? Terms and conditions aren't clear on Shopback website.

    • Shopback confirmed via PM that it was covered! 😁

  • What if they are in my "saved for later" cart page and then instead of "moving to cart" I click on the product page and then add it?
Or do I need to completely get rid of items off my "saved for later" page to be safe? I remember "moving to cart" didn't allow me to get cashback in the past.

  • Thanks OP. Good timing

  • Hi, I signed up for the first time yesterday and made an electronics order on Amazon. The cashback hasn't shown up on my account. Is it viable to cancel that order and order with this 20% link?

    • If Amazon hasn't finished processing your order yet, you may be able to cancel and reorder with higher CB rate

      • It hasn't shipped yet…

        • If you go to your orders, you should see an option to cancel items if they haven't processed it yet.
Note that this option might not be available even if it hasn't been shipped yet

          • @FireRunner: Yeah, if the cancel order button isn't available on the summary page but it hasn't shipped yet you can click on Track package and there should be the option to cancel order at the bottom, where you'll get a message that they can't guarantee cancellation but will try. Check again in a few minutes and see if it cancelled.

  • Nice, have been hoping for a sale on Ring Fit adventure over the sale period, this works too. This should trip that $100 spend for $20 credit amex offer from a little while back too, unless I'm mistaken?

  • So is it spend $250 or $275 with GST component ?

  • +1

Does it apply to multiple transactions?

    • same want to know aswell

    • -2

      One transaction per user Taneda1988

      • Thanks

      • as not in original T&C can i cancel my orders made from 5pm and make a new one for $250ish?

      • +3

Also dont see this anywhere in T&C
Not going to cancel my orders and re-order in bulk as thats just silly.
Going to be requesting at the least, the highest discount is honoured, otherwise your T&C are misleading

        • +1

Completely agree. A pity the shopback rep won't front up about their T&Cs not being clear.

      • Hi, can you please clarify what you mean by the word "transaction". Do you mean one item bought, total? Or do you mean multiple items from a single seller in one buy though? Or do you mean multiple items from multiple sellers but all purchased in the single order?
I need to know if I have to cancel stuff lol

  • Thank you!

  • only 25 minutes left and i am trying to maximize my total purchase to $250….

    • +1

Maximize to $275 - Cashback usually excludes the GST part.

      • Hope I saw this earlier, could have added another switch game:(

  • so can i buy more seperate transactions and get 20% on each?????

    • -1

      One transaction per user raffstar

      • +8

Since you changed the T&Cs, you should at least honour the 20% cashback on the highest value order…. up to $50 cap..?

        • This

        • +1

We understand that this isn't your fault and have decided to also honor all user's transactions that came through during the flash sale even if they made multiple transactions.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend :)

  • More headphones for me. Got the Philips Fidelio X2HR

    • +1

Great purchase, you won't regret it :)

      • Yeah. Coupled with Amex $20 off it comes down to $143.56 delivered. Can't complain with that

        • Winning

  • What is everyone buying?

  • I was waiting for this all yesterday to get the Kindle….

Now I dunno if I can cancel and repurchase as I used the AMEX Amazon offer with it too.

  • Struggling to find anything worthwhile. Wish the 20% was available at midnight Thursday instead :/

    • I'm in the exact same boat. I actually got my purchase I made Friday morning from Amazon today so I guess I'm still pretty stoked
