Sunglasses That Filter Light from All Eye Directions & Is There a Fashionable Option?

so i need sunglasses that have front (obviously), side, top and bottom coverage.

but why must they all be so unattractive?

i'm a long time wearer of Cocoons https://cocoonseyewear.com/ that fit over my spectacles and have some (good by comparison) side top bottom coverage, but not complete coverage and not really enough for my needs. and i'm pretty sure they are not very fashionable.

i've decided to upgrade to prescription sunglasses. i could get more Cocoons and have a prescription put in them. and they do have more coverage of my eyes when directly on my face and not fitting over spectacles, but still not the complete coverage i desire.

i can not seem to find any better options for problems;
a) complete coverage,
nor
b) less hideousness.

  • I wanted to say that 'fashionable' or 'unattractive' is entirely subjective. But then I looked at the Cocoons, yikes. There are plenty of options like These, These, and These, all from one of the best luxury fashion brands, but you can't know what the coverage is like without trying them on.

      As you say, highly subjective. Those Tom Ford ones weren't much better that the Cocoons!

  • Spoke to my on trend grandma. She said no fashionable options available.

  • Maui Jim tend to be big and still fashionable. I have a set (not a current model) that blocks light in all directions that I need as I'm sensitive to sunlight.

  • I reckon these look OK

    • I personally don't trust anything off AliExpress to be properly or genuinely polarised.

      • I have a pair and they are indeed polarised.
        It's an easy check.

    I dont think even the worlds best designer can make what you're looking for 'fashionable'.
