Grocery manager said there was no point in recognising space on shelves for little remaining stock - as was unlikely to be restocked.
So asking staff, as I've recommended is easiest.

Woolies own brown sugar costs $2.69 for 1kg! & only comes in a plastic bag… No canister for 82c more!
But I'm not buying bulk quantity to get slightly cheaper, as 1kg is enough for 6-12 months for me😉
Homebrand white sugar is $1/kg, brown sugar is typically at least double that price.

But what proof is there of the overblown claim "sugar kills"?
No equivalency - just a few proven things that do cause death😉
So how is sugar an equivalent risk to anything, except in the mind of the believer?
Humans have always been consuming sugars, and processed sugars for a long time.
Consumption has increased, but so too have many factors in our lives.
At this stage there appears only a correlation between sugar and deaths, rather than any direct scientific proof of causation. There are so many confounds involved.
Other causes of death are well documented, because there is a direct causal link. (eg car accident fatality, drowning)
But people choose to focus on areas without proof & ignore proven risks.
And focus on highly unlikely events (eg terrorist attack) because the outcome is scary & hyped up in the media.
Any real risk is all about probability of event happening & probability of the outcome (death).
Claiming "Sugar kills" is a simplistic emotional response to a complex issue. People feel personally better saying it.
It's an overreach at best, that can result in people ignoring any issue.
But moderation of sugar intake is recommended!

Cheaper here… Slapping "limited edition" on something doesn't make it a bargain.
That's not the same type of sugar! That's ordinary Essentials White Sugar.
This Deal is for Brown Sugar - which has a different taste, usually for a different use (eg baking).
It is made from caster sugar with the molasses from the crushed sugar added back. Very different to white sugar.
For comparison, Essentials Brown Sugar is much dearer than this Deal @$2.69 for 1kg! I'd rather save 82c with this Deal!
And if you want a storage canister - add that to your price! It's included in this Deal.
That's what limited edition refers to - the added canister for a limited time, not the sugar! The canisters had limited release before, with some collecting them.

Brown sugar = white sugar + molasses.
Molasses ain't free.

Snapper found plenty of stock only by asking.
I found 20, with none available in the sugar section Even posted a photo as people were complaining there was no stock.

Checked online, my local (Ashfield) supposedly had stock. Went there, none on the shelf, asked at front desk, she called another staff member who brought an unopened box of them to me. Seems (like others have stated above) that there isn’t space on the shelves for the tins.
