Ta mate, just what I needed

Not much stock in southern Perth suburbs that I could find, but great price. Thanks for heads up OP.

  • Just ordered 5 as a click and collect from the Elizabeth store to go along with the 5 I ordered from Amazon and the 5 the wife also ordered from amazon

    Am I missing something?
Why is everyone going crazy over old usb sticks?

    • +2

      Always handy to have some.

    • +11

I find it useful to have a pile of them for distributing photos I take for people, no stress about getting them back when they are basically disposable.

      • Exactly for the same reason, I bought 8 of them

        • What's difference this Cruzer Spakr to Cruzer Blade?

      • Exactly this also exactly.

        • Exactly same here, got 10.

Would rather give the kids a $2 usb stick when they have to hand something in for school than something expensive I'll get upset if they lose.

      • give the kids a $2 usb stick when they have to hand something in for school than something expensive

I used high density 1.44 mb floppy disks for school assignments which probably cost more than today's usb sticks. lol

    • +3

I'm allways handing out usbs with files and they never all come back so at $2 a pop no big deal

      • why not just send through the internet instead of spending $2

        • +7

Easier to steal someone's files or remote control the PC/laptop/Mac. Plug in, spyware installed, Bob's your uncle.

They think they get a free USB stick… think again… :-)

          • +1

@netsurfer: i wish people would give me free usb sticks…

            • +1

@abctoz: You can get free ones from attending computer shows, tech workshops, business seminars.

I gave/give out free ones to mates so one way is to become a friend of mine. I'll need all your personal details of course. :-)

          • @netsurfer: Bob could also be your Auntie now days. lol

        • handing over a $2 stick is a lot more nan-proof than sending someone a download link.

    • +3

As others have said - handy for giving out and not getting back… its $2!

Had to hand some security camera footage over to the cops, and sent it on USB..
Never got back, never expected to.

    • ok

    • Ok then where can you find a 16GB USB drive that is NOT USB 2.0 for 2 bucks?

  • +2

None at Doncaster if anyone is looking.

    • +1

Confirmed. We are out of stock.

  • Can't go wrong for 2 bucks

  • i like more colours

There's a truckload of these available at the Logan Hyperdome store in Black, blue and pink despite the BigW site saying that they're unavailable.

They're in with the back to school stationary stuff - none with the rest of the USB drives…

    • Same with my local BigW. The "office" section had the $2 yellow tags but was bare. Went looking for the back to school stuff and there were heaps.

  • Just got refunded by Big W as they say they are unable to supply the item/s as they were unavailable at the time of processing order.

Got 2 just in case need them anytime from Harvey Norman for $2. Thanks OP.

Tons at the Sunbury Store (huge display full of them)

Is this metal or plastic? What's difference to Blade? Just design?

    • +1

I also would love to know what the difference is between the Blade & Spark.

      • +1

        I think it's just aethetics.

  • Thanks, I bought 2 of it

  • Expired, now $5 each.
