Absolutely loving Up. It’s a shame no other bank invests so much into its software and abilities.

    • It is owned by Bendigo and Adelaide Bank, an almost $5 billion dollar company. It's app seems very similar to Xinja Bank.

  • What sort of commission are you two getting?

You tell me, as they asked me to refer to you after I make this forum post

Getting nothing out of it. Just absolutely had a gut full of terrible apps from the majors. Westpac, the major I am currently in the process of moving away from, is absolutely atrocious. Leaving aside the “password must be six characters”, I have had statements issued with another customer’s transactions. Simple requests take multiple attempts to get right. They seem to entirely forget customer satisfaction

        Westpac, the major

They don't even allow Apple pay yet.

    ING…..

    • Not sure why you were neg’d. I’m a fan of both ING and Up however ING’s only benefits over Up now are limited to ING rebating ATM fees (which I rarely need), joint accounts and multiple accounts. Up has (and ING does not have) merchant recognition, simple spend statistics, auto split to saver ability, can send instantaneous payments at a far greater limit than ING, notifications, list of anticipated upcoming transactions and a very nice app with a dev team adding features all the time. To a degree any deficiency can be overcome by having accounts with both banks. Up is now my main transaction account - its app far surpasses ING.

  • Doesn't U bank has a better deal with only 200$/month and no requirements of transaction? Or is there a catch I am missing?

No osko payments. I had enough of waiting for days to receive/send my payments

      • UBank has no Osko but my experience with their payment receiving/sending is that it happens on the same day, as long as you make the transfer cut off time of the sending bank.

        • They also have no option to change PIN online. I was interstate and had no option but to get the PIN letter sent home. Which was of no benefit to me as I needed cash right there and then.

  • Very good of them, liking them so far.
    Thanks for letting us know!

No ATM fee but the international ATM will still have it's own fee - which Up doesn't provide a rebate for like ING does
