  • DO NOT BUY!! Picked mine up today and it's a lot noisier than a normal fan blowing the same amount of air. Not possible to use in bedroom with any meaningful air movement speed. Returning mine asap. Look's good though and that's the only thing going for it.

We told you it would be noisy in the comments at the top of the page!

      • This is Ozbargain. Buy first, read comments later.

        • Probably a good idea. No risk buying from bunnings anyway, it's an easy return.

  • How’s the air output, such mixed comments above. I’m staring at it now.

Worth my effort to return if it’s crap? Haha

  • Went to Kingsgrove and Greenacre store. No stock left

  • wow..this looks exactly like the Stirling from Aldi and the Kogan Smarter Home.

    • They're all from the same Chinese factory re-badged.

Sorry to be pedantic but it doesn't keep your room cool. It may cool you down by evaporation of your sweat and and the air movement wicking heat away from your skin, but no fan cools a room, it only heats one. So no use turning it on before you get into the room ha.

    • Who said anything about turning it on before you get into a room?

      • +1

Lol the discussion above about a fan with wifi. Merely a warming warning!

Fans "cooling down a room" is a common misconception, even leaving it on while you're not in the room.

        • In an enclosed room, agreed. Could help move hot air out or draw cool air in from another source though.

  • Its a crap guys. I am returning it now. It does not serve the basic purpose of fan , which is air. Even we tolerate noise there no much air coming from it.

  • Paid 179 a week ago and it sucks. Will be returning it.

  • This is a really bad fan.

It has really narrow vents, making it useless.

  • Bought two and returning them back. Looks nice but not enough air flow. If you are lying down on floor you want feel the air at all…

  • This fan is like buying shitcoins in 2018.

  • got the floor stock one for $25

need it because normal fans are dusty and make me sneeze

    thanks

    • Where do you find the remote for this fan? I got the floor stock but don't find the remote. Does it come loose or attached somewhere on the fan body? As it was floor stock manager said I had to buy as is. They would not be able to locate remote if any.

  • underwood all gone!

btw, this fan is more like what we called "aircon fan", it can be used as like increasing the airflow at the edge of your aircon covering zone, but it won't cool down the room by itself, so buy wisely. Anyway, thinking of returning it too.

  • It’s ok for us… we’re keeping it. 👌🏻

  • I have one in the bathroom and use it to dry my huge hands.

  • Heading to North Penrith In the morning before they open. still have 7 units left

  • Got two yesterday, thinking of returning them.
Does anyone have better tower/minimal design fan which might be better at similar price point?

    • why you want to return them and get a tower/minimal design fan ??
yes there ar some tower/minimal design fans in this price range, but i can guarantee that they ar not good…

  • I'm returning mine today. One doesn't oscillate. One stopped blowing air after 2days use. Don't think this will last.

  • I bought one today- a display piece for $30. Probably it did not come with remote. Where to find the remote on the fan?On the top of the barrel or it comes loose not attached to the fan? As its open box item, I don't have manual too.

  • Anyone who has one, how is it for pushing air? I can sleep through anything so noise is fine, but would anyone know how it compares to a steel pedestal or a tower fan?

    • +1

I am not very happy with the airflow. Even Aldi $35 AC tower fan (40 Watt) is better as far as airflow and noise is considered. Air outlet port on this fan is too narrow. It is louder than Aldi tower fan.
