Is It Too Late to Buy a Pixel 3?

So it seams I'm a few weeks late in buying a new (i.e. not refurbished) Pixel 3 for $5xx.

It seams no one is stocking them. Is it too late to buy this phone? Is the stripped back Pixel 3a the only choice atm? Or should I wait for this phone to be re-stocked in the coming weeks?

Any advice?

    A restock would be unlikely as it's been superseded by the Pixel 4
