  • Somehow I managed to purchase this vacuum a few minutes ago without realising it doesnt appear to come with the floor tools I’d want…. how is that “complete”?
So what tools to I want to get a good result on hard floor and carpet and what will it cost me …. no pets currently but potential dog during lifespan of vacuum
Frankly I find the whole Miele website and range description very confusing
    Thanks for any advice

    • Which tools are you talking about ?

    • I find the Miele website very confusing as well. To me it seems the only one really for carpet you could get is the floor attachment with the brushes, which is included in the cat and dog version. To me it doesn't seem all that beneficial though as it's not a powered head, just spins from the airflow.

I'll see how I go with the standard floor attachment and then worry about getting that one later if need be (again waiting for it on special).

The standard floor attachment should be more than fine for hard floors - it has a setting to push down the brush, like most vacuums do.

      • Oh I see, I $150 for a head that just rotates from airflow seems very expensive. I'm using it mainly for carpet.

      • Yeah I guess I expected some kind of rotating or motor head …. but my current Dyson barrel has a turbo / air based rotating head and its been useless since day 1
As long as it removes the dirt and dust I don’t care !

  • Have the C2 Compact Allergy from two year ago ($177), worth upgrading to the C3?

    • I won't say so, it does not seem to be big enough of a difference to me unless you need the bigger bag.

    If anyone looking for bags

  • Does this have a Hard floor head?

Bought it and tested it out. It's pretty great. It's 2000w despite what it says on goodguys

I bought this from their last sale. It is the best vacuum cleaner I have used and the suction is just unbelievable. My floor is so clean after using a Miele. I have a Dyson and a shark. Miele beats both on suction alone.

  • been looking for a new Vacuum, have a Dyson hand held and Dyson Corded. Both just simply do not suck up what they should. eg, loose bit cotton the carpet, often need to go over a few times. Corded obviously alot more powerful, but for its cost would expected better.
Interested to see peoples views with this one who had Dyson corded.

I have a hand held and a corded Dyson …. purchased based on all the hype …. both have been useless since day one and just push stuff around without picking it up … regardless of what floor attachment I try.
I have pulled the trigger on one of these - its not going to be hard for it to be an improvement.

  • They have a blizzard model with a lifetime HEPA filter. Given the cost of the filters ($54.90) why do people choose these models?

  • Yea I'm still wondering if I should hold out for the cat and dog for the turbohead. Our dog has very short hair and it doesn't stay in the carpet. My wife's hair on the other hand….

  • Got one thanks OP

  • Thanks Op, finally able to purchase one at a store as their flaming website wouldn't accept PayPal. If you persevere and keep reiterating the deal on offer to the store staff, they can match the offer if the website doesn't work for you. Be prepared though, you may need to be extremely patient and repeat what the deal is for quite a while before they are able to comprehend the deal and honour it. Hopefully it will be worth the stress of purchasing it.

    • You're lucky you got that.. The coupon code is eBay's coupon code.. Not the good guys.. So ebay help to supplement some of that sale I believe
