There’s been a few wine deals popping up. This one isn’t related to COVID-19, we’ve been getting it for a while. It isn’t labelled as a Punt Road wine, Which is why their selling it as a mystery dozen. I can confirm this wine is very enjoyable. We don’t usually buy wine by the case but we’ve bought 4 cases of this stuff. At less than $10/bottle this is a great easy drinking red.
Emailed them and they were quite helpful. I received a tracking number for the second case. Will be interesting to see whether we get another case of Downtown or the Cleanskin.
Still waiting for my order from 2/4 to be delivered in Victoria.
The tracking says Aust Post has received shipping information as of 7 April, but nothing after that.
Case arrived today! Which was a surprise considering the tracking information literally had no updates up until the notification email to me today that it's been delivered to my local PO Parcel Collect!
Same as me, rocked up out of nowhere today. To be fair, with Easter in there it's only really been 9 business days to get it, but some tracking notifications would have been nice.
Did you end up getting the downtown or 2019 cleanskin?
@funky: 2019 Cleanskin. Honestly I think it's better than the 2016 Downtown. Smells fantastic, just find a good bordeaux glass and give it a swirl and you'll be set. I have no idea how to explain wine flavours but I've drank a lot worse for the money.
Ordered 8pm on April 2nd, apparently shipped on the 7th (went back and checked my emails). Am in Melbourne though, so not far from Punt Road, I imagine anyone outside Vic may have a longer wait.
Another day and no change to shipping information along with no communication.
Yep, same here - I just rang them now. They said "Australia post are taking longer to deliver packages as they are working with 1/2 the staff but 2x the volume" still no update since the 7th.
Finally received mine albeit the cleanskin.
Bought two and have recieved just the one..not happy!

Yep, just got in contact and they said another is on the way. No additional tracking code has been provided so skeptical!
OK so finally got my 2nd carton - and it is clearly marked Downtown 2016 vintage. Unlike my first carton which was a clean skin with just Punt Road.
That said I tried some of the clean skin and was very pleasantly surprised. Can't complain for the price and I image the Downtown will be better.
Delivery delays aside I'm happy with this pickup.
Has anyone heard back re request for a refund due to receiving 2019 cleanskin instead of 2016?
I did. Sent them an email and got a reply after a few days with a return label. Dropped it off at the post office and got my refund.
You didn't like it that much? I would definitely buy another case for the same price if they put the same deal up again.
Ordered on the 2nd, shipped on the 6th…still nothing!
and still nothing! at least they responded to my email… will give until friday before seeing if they will send another box or not..

SIX WEEKS after order, I finally get a case.
Plain white box, no marks except the shipping label. Cleanskins inside, plain cap, no info whatsoever.
Surely this is not even legal in Australia??
I should make complain to the licensing people.

Received one of 2 cases last week. Logged a complaint with auspost asking where the 2nd case was, appears its not their fault this time round!
Have emailed punt road as well, but no reply yet. Glad I'm not the only one who ordered 2 and received one.
