Budget AV Receiver with Speakers

Searching for cheapo amplifiers but looks like AV receivers are the better option. Google search show receivers only, but would prefer speakers included. Any recommendations for receivers with speakers, preferably with microphone input? Cheers

What budget? What audio specs? What features do you need? Bluetooth? Dolby Atmos? AirPlay? What port connections do you want? Network connection? HDMI ARC? How many speakers? Wired or wireless? Standalone subwoofer? Why do you need mic input into an AV receiver?

Av receivers run from a few hundred to many tens of thousands. You need to decide what you want to spend and what you want in it. All the major electronics chain will happily sell you an all in one system with av receiver, and speakers for around $500-600. It won't be fancy and it won't sound as good as a seperate component system, but it may do the job. Get model numbers and look online for second hand if new is too much for you.

  • You may be better served by a beefy soundbar or stereo bookshelf speakers if it's just for the TV.

  • Seen Yamaha AV amps and speakers for under $200 on clearance

    • Link please?

  • Yamaha YHT1840B Good basic system, but no dedicated mic input.

Lowest current price I can see after a quick search is $375 at Videopro but they have been as low as @ $270 with a 20% off on Ebay.
