It’s OLED or nothing for me.
People actually think these are LED.
It is not just Samsung. Most TVs claim loudly "LED" when they are LCD.
And posters here believe and repeat it, .e.g. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/530245Its like calling a Corolla an electric car. It has EFI,so that is electric! Never mind the petrol engine.
Yeah it’s misleading.
They really should call them QLCD.
The LED only refers to the backlight source, which changed from Cold Cathode Fluorescent in order to make the bezels thinner, and make the power source more efficient.

This years Q60T is basicly a 2019 RU8000.
2020 Samsung's tv range is downgraded.
slightly worse than it too. And the ru8000 was downgraded compared to the NU8000.
Really not a fan of Samsung's strategy on their TV's. You should NEVER be downgrading TV's year to year.
If you can, spring for the Q75. Full-Array, with local dimming, reasonably good tracking, and not a lot of blooming. They both use VA panels, so may as well get the most out of the native contrast ratio with a decent backlight, and local dimming set up. The Q75 is also a native 100HZ panel, so it’s fast.
Apart from increasing colour accuracy, and depth with the additional filter, I don’t think the Q60 is worth the scrip to be honest.
So sneaky and misleading with their “QLED” rubbish.
