Currently playing this now from the harvey Norman deal a few months back. Amazing game!

    Hesitation is defeat!

  • The last boss of Sekiro took me around 20 hours to beat, I nearly gave up! It was so satisfying in the end albeit i prefer Bloodborne and the Souls games.

My go to themes are: Mirrors Edge Catalyst (I love the music), The Last of Us 2 and Firewatch.

    • 20 hours to beat? Wow!! You sat in one place for 20 hours trying to beat the last boss?

      • Over a 6 week period I would spend a few hours on him every couple of days. I think I even took a week break from it.

    • Wow really? Genchiro ashina took me 3 days. Probably closer to 9 hrs. (That transformation made a part of me die lol). The last boss is really that painful?

      • Yeah, it took me ages to master the parry which is a must for the last boss. I would watch YouTube videos and get annoyed how easy they made it look. It's all about learning the bosses patterns, parrying and making sure to get all the prayer beads for the health upgrades.

        • 1st 2 forms of last boss is parryable…. but last 2 there's guns and explosions everywhere i couldn't parry. I quit the game and gave up. Never got gud like you.

Freaking hardest game ever played.. so many rage quits

    • Heh as hard as dark souls and Demon Souls? Those games were brutal

      • It's harder than soul and bourne

        • How's it compare to Nioh?

I've beaten the three Dark Souls games, Bloodborne and the Surge, but Nioh I feel found new ways to kick my butt.

  • Hows this compared to bloodborne/nioh/sigrun gmgow ng+?

    • I would say it was the hardest From Software game and harder than Nioh too, although I haven't played Nioh 2 yet. Instead of rolling and dodging like in Souls it's all about parrying which takes awhile to master largely due to recognising the parry window for different enemies.

    • You can't play this game the same way you would as soulsborne. I will say though there is a lot less bs moments and generally I feel lot more confident in taking on enemies as the block and parties are somewhat more forgiving. Some areas in soulsborne I was terrified of getting wrecked where as in Sekiro i know that if I parry well I can survive and blocks actually block 100% damage.

      • Not on Hard mode ;) true parries block all damage but normal blocks receive chip damage

The fact sony normally ask for money is ridiculous

Great game. If you're struggling and thinking of quitting: Watch Fuzzy Bearbarian youtube videos. He has a guide to beat every single boss. Without cheesing. Just good solid techniques communicated professionally. After watching a couple vids, you just apply those mechanics and beat each boss eg, I watched it for the madam butterfly and then I flew past the game, only needed his guide again for the last boss and the optional final boss.

I'm watching fuzzys 3yr old vids for nioh before I move on to nioh 2!

I've added Sekiro to my list, Sekiro or Nioh 2 first though??

      • Now thats a dilemma😂

  • Apart from this, can anybody recommend any dope PS4 dynamic themes?

    • Anniversary theme is my default. Had the og ps theme on boot.
