Nah, thanks. I'll stick to Ubereats / Menulog

      No reason to neg.

UberEats, MenuLog, Deliverood - they're all as bad as each other.

Order from the restaurant and if they don't deliver, then pickup.

      • Yeah, but still better than doordash

Not sure why you are getting negged, you are right. Doordash are scum. Uber Eats and Menulog at least have decent customer service and are generally reliable.

Must be the 'Dashers' who downvoted me

        Menulog decent customer service?

        Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.

    • TIL that Ubereats are angels

I used doordash for the first time last week and everything was great, placed my order and it was delivered withing 20 mins!

Then I get a call after I've finished my meal, couldn't hear what they were saying so I asked them to email me whatever they are trying to tell me.

Then I get an email with a CONFIRMATION of an "order adjustment".

So I was charged an extra $$$ that I didn't consent to.

After speaking to the online chat they "credited it to me" but it was such a joke, I asked what their policy was when it came to "adjustments" to orders, if my consent was required because I did not consent to it, she then became sarcastic and kept saying "the resturant requested it, they should have called you" every time I asked if they require consent before an adjustment they kept blaming the restuarant and kept saying "I understand this can be confusing for you but this was a request from the store" then promptly disconnected the chat shortly after.

So I'm not a huge fan of their service, given that right after paying and agreeing to the prices listed, they could go ahead and just make an adjustment to their liking.
