$250 eGift Card for AHPRA-Registered Frontline Hospital Members (Doctor/Nurse/Paramedic/Midwife) @ NIB [Members Only]

110

Unfortunately I am not with nib so I can't access the deal, but if you are already with them and a medical practitioner (not chiropractor), nurse, midwife or paramedic registered with AHPRA then you get $250 to spend in their nib rewards store!!

Apply before June 30

Ring 13 14 63 with your AHPRA number ready.

Hope it helps someone.

  • Wonder if this works for NIB subsidaries? eg GU health …

Why would anyone registered with ahpra be insured by nib? Their rebate to practitioners is generally lower than the other insurers…

    • exactly, from what i have heard NIB payout is often the lowest amount

      • Generally most medical services will have minimal/no gap for people who are registered for ahpra.

    • Can you clarify what rebate do practitioners get? My partner is a nurse and we need to get some PHI by end of the month. We were about to go with NIB (good value when accounting for the $400 gift card upon registration)

  • Spot on.

You forgot the bit about working in a frontline hospital setting!

    • I think the aged care nurses might have a thing or two to say about that exclusion.

Hmmm, I do wonder if Ambo only cover counts?

A reason to leave NIB if you're not a frontline worker.

If they can be this generous for select healthcare workers surely they could offer the same for the rest of their members?

  • There are a lot of people hurting. The health system here has not been ravaged. We destroyed our economy to prevent that from happening. Its really unfair on the other members. This sort of thing should not be offered or if it is, needs based.

  • Can a new customer signup with nib and still get this?

    • Did you end up joining and claimed it successfully? Going to try my luck (stacking up with the $400 visa offer would be neat)
