[NSW, VIC, QLD] $10 off Liven Care Package (No Minimum Spend)

2111

Found this on a food blogger's Instagram:

@livenpay has launched the new #CarePackage to #SaveYourFaves! During these tough times, it's especially important to #supportyourlocals 💕
▪︎ 100% contributions goes to the restaurants
▪︎ Recieve up to 2x bonus credit upfront
▪︎ No expiry on the credit and fully protected by the Liven Guarantee

View my story (or highlights) for a step by step tutorial to get your #CarePackage. I chose @caliacollective for my first Care Package and can't wait to visit them again!

Get $10 off your first #CarePackage via link in my bio (even for existing @livenpay users)

I added the direct link to this deal. I have an existing Liven account and worked for me. I chose the $10 care package for sushi hub and it gave me $20 credit to use and I paid nothing!

Enjoy!

Mod: This is for $10 off coupon given out by influencers (see Liven's IG stories). Different from referral codes and links.

Isn't this strictly worse than the regular referral's no-restriction $10 credit?

    Or can you get both?

    • +1

      Both.

thanks. just signed on and added the referral credit, but it doesn't seem to apply to care packages and using this deal would overwrite the referral credit. So i have to buy a non-care package first?

        • I think they are separate, but not sure how they both interact. Does the referral credit get added to your rewards balance? (click wallet->look at balance).

          • @tlai: If I'm not wrong they're both vouchers that you have to use, so unfortunately not credit. (Unless they have changed it) Do a transaction somewhere and use your referral credit, then try to get this deal instead.

Edit: Hit reply on the wrong comment and now I can't change it, lol…

@jennkei: yeah it seems you have to use up your $10 referral credit first before they let you add this care package credit to your account, otherwise it overwrites the referral credit.

I just tried using the referral credit on a care package, and it did not apply. Contacted customer support about this for a refund to try again, they tell me

sorry but our team will not be able to grant your request, even my manager. I'm afraid refunding is not possible at the moment.

This is 100% illegal and a horrible customer experience.

Update: They insisted on this and told me to read their T&C, because that totally overrides ACL.

  • i want to buy a $10 care package, I get a message saying promo code applied but the price still shows at $10… am i doing something wrong or is that how it is?

  • +2

On their chat feature, I was told that more sushi hub locations were being added to liven and that the credit would be available to use at them too once they're added

    • Sydney George st has been added.

  • paid $20 to get $30 credit at 8-bit… did I do it right?

    • +1

      I paid $10 and got $30 for 8bit
They are definitely up to some shenanigans

  • -1

Whats the promo code for 10 off. i keep trying with 8 bit but the best i can do is pay 20 for 10 credit.

  • Very sneaky. They are increasing the base amount and reducing the credits for certain places.

    • +1

To be honest I understand. When it was first announced a few months back the purpose was to support venues who needed the cash and may not reopen. Now places are opening it defeats the purpose especially they have restricted dine in numbers.

  • Has anyone used the credit immediately?

    • +2

Yep bought an used straight away at Lanzhou beef noodle Bar.

    • If the venue is open, you can certainly do this. I have with two of mine .

  • Did they go into administration not long ago?

  • oh has to check it out then only if am using it immediately

  • Thanks OP.
Paid $10 for $25 credit at Ipoh in Sydney

  • How did you get the $25 for Ipoh?

    • It was $20 for $25 credit, with the $10 discount.

      • good deal

        • The other choices are $60 for $80, $100 for $140, $250 for $370, $500 for $740.

  • Once you have the credit on your account, do they expire? I can't see an expiry date.

    • The care package credits have no expiry

      • +1

        Ok, thanks.

  • Wow!, for $10, I got $40 at ho jiak!!!

    • They are now back to their $$$$ menu though, no more $10 lunch options.

  • Do we have to use all package credits in one go or we can use multiple times?

    • +4

      Multiple times.

  • +1

They are starting to remove / sell out of care packages, so if there's anything you are interested in, better to buy it early.

    • +2

It comes and goes. Some have been restocked
