Coles is selling their Tote Bags (some of the plastic ones) for 50% including the big ones. Not all of them are on sale but I was briefed on it yesterday so if you're looking for some decent reusable bags it's not a bad deal.
Can't find a link though so I'm pretty sure it's just in store to compliment their free swap of 15c bags.
Yep. I had a Coles bag (that admittedly lived on my back seat and copped the sun everyday) where the straps just snapped off when I went to pick it up loaded. I asked, but Coles refused to replace (understandably as they do not have the promotion as does Woolies). Now I know I probably contributed to it by leaving it in the sun, but why would I go Coles bags when I know Woolies bag will be replaced when damaged, even when I've unintentionally contributed.
Do any supermarkets still produce machine washable bags?

One things I have always found interesting, is when staff members from Coles go shopping at Aldi in their Coles uniform (presumably after they knock off work).
Yeah I see the same where in my shopping centre there is a Coles on one side, a Woolies on the other, and an Aldi in the middle. I've spotted both Coles and Woolies employees in the Aldi having a shop. Possibly could be for specific things that aren't available in Coles and Woolies though.
