Cashrewards for Amazon Australia Declined

Just purchase a instant pot pressure cooker from Amazon Australia. Cashrewards says cashback declined. I paid with a e-gift card purchased via Suncorp app. Could this be the reason?

"Purchases paid with gift cards are eligible for cashback."
"When using a valid coupon code or Amazon credit (applicable only on items sold by Amazon AU), cashback is calculated on the net amount after the value of the coupon code or credit has been deducted."

I have not got the item and I have no invoice I need to send enquiry via cashrewards.

Now I am about to buy a Kindle basic model for $139. What is the best way for me to buy it?

Any suggestions deals of e-book readers would be welcomed.

    Looks like Cashrewards only very recently put "Kitchen" back as earning cash back (it's even on their website "Now earn cash back on kitchen" because they stopped it weeks ago). Shopback still it 0% for Kitchen. I purchased this on Friday and it wasn't eligible, but I used a targeted discount Amazon gave me instead.

    Hi Jeeyang. Payment using gift cards on Amazon is fine. The reason your cashback was declined is because you purchased a kitchen appliance, and the 'kitchen' category was ineligible for cashback until today (June 1).

    Please note rates have changed today (June 1) with some categories removed and others added for cashback. Always check back prior to purchase. Thanks!

    You need to make sure the catergory is covered as Amazon is no longer site wide for cashbacks anymore
    if it was rejected quickly then it was most likely not in a cash back applicable category.

    raise a ticket with Cashrewards and they will investigate for you and confirm whether it is or isn't
