      The footage of everyone charging in with trolleys is the wrong tactic :)
      Best way is no trolley grab the targets and get it the out of the area as fast as possible in a quite section ,guard it with your life whilst your partner who has done the same thing so far grabs the couple trolleys needed to get the hell out of there lol .
      I'm thankful I don't do the play much nowadays .

    So I got the Beetle and Campervan coming today. Seems Assembly Square is still "Picking in progress". I feel this one is not going to end up coming as it's already been cancelled twice on my order but now showing as Picking in progress…

    My order was placed at 12:08. Maybe I wasn't quick enough…

    I asked Big W if they were getting more Lego stock and their (canned) response was:

    "Thank you for contacting Big W.
    We're sorry to hear of your disappointment in an unavailable item.
    We can confirm that more stock will become available. Please keep a lookout on our website from the 18th of June for more updates.
    If you have any further questions, do not hesitate to contact our team here at Big W."

    Checked the website and their catalogue today and they've delete all the Lego items from it.

      Yep, they've culled pretty much all of the most coveted sets from their website that were advertised in the catalogue before the sale started, i.e. Hogwart's Castle, UCS Millennium Falcon, Roller Coaster, Volkswagen Camper Van, Volkswagen Beetle, Star Wars Death Star, Bugatti Chiron and the Assembly Square.

    The Assembly Square I ordered at 12:08am is still showing as "Picking in process". Safe to assume no stock and will likely get cancelled?

      Confirmed: Big W called me to say they have had to cancel my Assembly Square order after stating no stock available even though I paid for it. Sucks.

          I should have… however to be honest I had already written it off as not turning up so I didn't even really bother push it.

          This will be the last time I'm staying up after midnight for a sale. It's a shame as that was purely the only one i wanted out of this sale, and to think it could all sell out within 8 minutes tells me that they had a lack of stock for this and lured people into to buy. Or some greedy bugger bought a crap load of them. The person who called me couldn't tell me how many they had at the time of launch when I asked on the call, but yeah. Sucks, though expected I guess.

    Gah some awesome sets came to David Jones but sold out so quickly!! Missed out on modular and Hogwarts castle. Checked it about 20mins after I got my Brickhawk.com alert email
