I do believe so? One on my table at least meet the Cosmetics ingredients labelling. Can't really tell if OP's hand sanitizer meets the labelling requirement as there's no photo of it. So I would assume this hand sanitiser does not meet the requirement unless OP provides the photo of the labelling or someone can prove me wrong.

This site is a lot easier to follow than the one I provided before if you're interested in this topic.

      • I can definately confirm there are locally made products that comply…

    • The TGA guidelines for hand sanitiser were updated at the start to favour locally made products through distilleries & to be in line with the WHO guidelines which were for 3rd world countries omitting emollients due to the expense & requiring hydrogen peroxide instead.

Can guarantee you it won’t be TGA registered. We couldn’t even get ours TGA registered even being a medical company with government contracts as we use emollient & not hydrogen peroxide

  • Also Works out to be free- just have to pay $14.99 for shipping.

  • Had a locally made gel right here in melbourne, was crap

  • I support only Australian made products. Don’t know what’s fake stuff is inside it.

You literally upvoted an overseas made hand sanitizer being sold at McDonald's 2 weeks ago..

Made in China makes this a no for me.

It may be hypocritical as I will still need to buy some products from China, but when it comes to food or medical it is a NO for me, especially where Australian made is an option.

It would be nice to see more diversity of foreign manufacturing than most things coming from China.

It's also telling of a seller, that we only know from the almost cut off edge of a picture of the shipping box.

It's only hypocritical cos other people try and brand you as a "supporting Aussies" person when the main reason for the purchase (or non-purchase as is the case) has nothing to do with that.
I've got no problem buying stuff made in China. Like you just not anything food or medical if possible, or it goes through enough channels to know it's just likely legit.

Unfortunately for the OP this can't really be proven considering not even "reviewed" in China. Contrast that with say Xiaomi power strips; not certified, but well reviewed, tested, teardowns, etc.

From the product sticker: "Kills 99.9% of Cerms". It's a no from me.

    • Good spot!

But the op says it has a nice fragrance. Sure you don't want it?

Oh, I missed that. I think you've gonvinged me.

It will go well with the kn95 mask I received from china, which came with extra ventilation. I wish I was joking - quality control was WFH too apparently.

        • Ain't that a beauty!

  • Politics of Hand Sanitizer.

Given all the junk quality PPE and medical equipment, and faulty testing kits that China exported to several countries world over, I'd not bet my money especially on a health product made in China. No, thank you.

PS: Don't bother me with stupid questions like "do you not buy any other Chinese product?" - Yes, I try my levels best not to buy anything Chinese, but it's not possible in some instances.

Also, it might be news to some of you CCP supporting stooges, but I'll decide what I buy with my money, and owe nobody an answer, whatsoever.

Just had a look through the negative votes and only found ONE that was potentially justified.
    I've reported the rest.

And no, I'm not affiliated with this product and won't even consider buying it myself, but what we've seen here is ridiculous.
Many of the negative votes seem to be based on racism.

Looks like the forum is cool with votes based on racism.

Hi - don;t also forget that % alcohol could be %v/v or %w/w. Most use %v/v, as gives a higher number, but the %w/w is the real indicator. Want that to be over 60%, pref 70% See: https://www.bode-science-center.com/center/hand-hygiene/hand…. Equim is 70% w/w, Aldi is 72% w/w….both Aussie made. I bought 2 of the Aldi 975ml ones when on sale.

  • They sold me fake 75% alcohol wipes, not happy about this at all.
