Was looking for replacement blades and came across this. Basic, but seems like a good deal if you have Prime and may be a cheap way to get some spare blades if you have a compatible model. (the replacement head is on sale too for $32.33, https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B076J9M7Z6)

  • Durable, self-sharpening blades for an effortless shave
  • Heads flex in 4 directions to easily shave every curve
  • Corded operation for constant power
  • Pop up trimmer perfect for your sideburns and mustache

So replacement head is expensive than body + head?

I have a Philips one, thats one of the top models and my brother has a Braun one. I must say that the Phillips looks and feels like a toy next to it. Philips feels really cheap, body, attachments, overall. Only thing I like is the three shaving heads gliding and simplicity to easily open that attachment and clean it. But I must say they've cut the corners there also. Before you had to press a button to separate the 2 parts of the shaving attachment, now you just need to get a nail between a bit and it opens up, bad part about it is if you're doing wet shaving and the razer part comes across some less wet area the 2 parts will separate on their own, open and probably drop in the sink. Not gonna even go into the part how slow, lazy, leaving beard uncut is the pre shaving trimming attachment. I'll probably go with Braun next time.

  • Soocas for the win.

  • Interesting - presume these would fit the 5000 series. They are both single blade rings, as opposed to dual or triple.

edit: just had a look at shaver shop website, they seem to differentiate and charge more for the different models.

Maybe I go back to using my cheapo Remington - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/87119

Yeah Im still rocking my $29 shaver from Bing Lee from a few years ago: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/245877

Although the blades are not cutting as well anymore, and replacement blades cant be found anywhere. Will upgrade on Fathers Day.
