    Hi OP, eligible households for rebate exclude those who already have a solar panel system installed on their property. I already have a solar panel for water heater with gas backup. Do I still qualify for rebate?

    Australian's think paying for the power generation plant for themselves is a cheaper option than the Government building it.

    This has severely damaged the Australian economy according to ACCC head while they maintain this absurd position.

      Completely agree with you. That being said, we cannot wait on the Government to build large-scale renewable farms and wait for the price to go down. Might as well take advantage of the numerous Federal and State based subsidies to reduce our electricity costs though :)

    The inverter is the only thing different from your last deal. Is the Growatt inverter really worth $800 less than the Fronius?

        Fortunately we aren't tasked with coming up with prices for the inverters. Both inverters have been around for a long time, and unfortunately, not everyone can/ or want to spend that extra for a Fronius.

        We're just here to give everyone the options!

      I can assure you that the panels aren't Jinko. Further to this, the 25 year warranty is the panels performance warranty, which every panel in Australia has.

      Be careful of any company’s saying 25 year warranty, it’s pretty much a lie ( only a few panels have that) and the 25 year performance warranty is just a PR scam by all companies, also if there not including what parts they are using, why trust them.

      Solar panels and investors are not all the same.

      I think same same.
      But having a system backed by Ikea is more reassuring I guess. That is not to say Pristine isn't reassuring, but the Ikea brand name matters.

    I reached out for a quote for this deal, and was told I would have to pay $650 extra for the Fronius Inverter.

    Seems to go against the advertisement they have posted…
