  • Had a quick look, and not much info on the quality of the port. It does seem to support ultra wide screen, if that's any indication?

There was the official PC trailer they put out the other day
      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VNd7tpPzmzE

Uncapped frames, FoV sliders (Something they were originally stubborn about including until fan backlash..), graphics options menu, full customizable keybinds etc.

At a glance and on paper it looks like it's one of those ports that was given some effort compared to many others.

  • Typical, I just preordered on Steam using the $8 voucher to bring it down to $66.99.
Could have saved another $4 and bought myself a coffee!

    • refund it through steam?

What?? I bought this game for $20 years ago

    Nintendo tax…

This is the PC release. This game isn’t even coming to Switch

      • ^^ Can I like your comment

Oh sorry. Just thought that's what we all like to do on this site when an old game comes to a new platform at full price

        • They generally get negged but more so if they don’t make sense

Guerilla are getting greedy with this one. Regional pricing in the cheaper/poorer countries got hiked within days of the pre-orders going live because of people who abuse it (cough).

After conversion on the Russian Steam store it was $17 and is now $57. It was $22 on the Indian Epic Games Store and is now $45.

Pretty disappointing to see the poorer regions getting treated like this because of a select few.

    • Is this redeemable as a steam gift to Australian steam account?

      • Negative. You can library share (most single player games) to your main account though.

:EDIT: I'll elaborate. I have a Russian Steam account that I use Steam Credit on as you can no longer use debit/credit cards that are not local to the region you're buying in. I then library share my games to my main account. Some games are excluded from library share (DayZ and Squad for example so they can combat cheaters) which is a pain since you need to switch accounts from time to time. Be aware it is against Steam's TOS and it's quite likely I'll get caught one day and my Russian account will be banned.

        • Isn't this the reason why its gone up? people at more wealthier countries using VPN's to get games cheaper so now the people in poorer countries have to put up with higher pricing?

            @kunfushun: I liked the way you worded that but see the last sentence of my first comment;

Pretty disappointing to see the poorer regions getting treated like this because of a select few.

In contrast a 3.5 year old game shouldn't be $75. The entire Master Chief Collection is getting ported to PC for $50.

    PC games are too expensive…

    • ermmmm…. really…

    • It’ll get cheaper.. haha

    • wait 6 months. Or buy it on ps4 for like 5 dollars.

      • You need a PS4 and have you seen how much is PS4 going for now?

    • Yarr, it be modern day extortion on the high seas

  • Cheaper on Epic Games store if you have the $15 off coupon ($74.99 - $15 coupon = $60). Personally, I'm going to wait to see what Sony have planned in terms of running PS4 games on PS5 - I would at least expect a 60fps patch for first party titles like Horizon Zero Dawn which would effectively make the PC port redundant for me.

I was going to buy it this way till i saw my email from greenmangaming.
$2.99 more is definitely worth it to me to have it on steam.

Nothing PS5 will do will make me not prefer PC. I recently got an Ultrawide which opened my eyes even further as to how bad the console experience is for games which i highly doubt PS5 will support.

      • Love ultrawide gaming, have a 35-incher myself. But personally, I've moved my gaming PC to the living room as I bought a LG CX 77-inch OLED two months ago which supports 4K at up to 120Hz with G-SYNC (and FreeSync Premium for AMD GPUs) and haven't looked back since.

        • Nice, I bought the new LG 34GN850 a few weeks ago expensive but man i love this thing so far not just for gaming but movies in 21:9 looks amazing.
I will still be buying the PS5 for exclusives PC for everything not exclusive.
Next PC upgrade will be either Nvidia 3000 or Big navi whatever's better, current GPU is Aorus 2080 Super.

  • Great game, I loved it on PS4, definitely would recommend the game on PC now that the PC version supports native 4 K textures, native ultrawide monitor support, HDR support, FOV adjustment upto 120 FOV, uncapped framerates, Keyboard + mouse support (including your own keybinding) + various controller support like PS4 controller, Xbox controller, Steam Controller for people who like to play PC games with controllers ! Great game hands down, and PC version will definitely be the best version for sure, so go grab it peeps !
