  Not a bargain - would call spam post. Most can find much higher quality meat and cheaper prices than this…

    Meat is not just about price. I used to go to Vic Markets and get porterhouse for $13/kg from the Asian butchers there. But in cooking it, it was tough as a thong, my dad who is a farmer said it was likely old milker cows. IE. Good cut but really bad cow. Black Angus steer porterhouse on the other hand will never be near that cheap, unless someone is making a huge loss. Farmer's just don't sell top grade steers that cheap at the wholesale.

    Just saying, maybe the quality of this meat is decent, hard to tell unless you try it.
