  I normally use the genuine windows 7 then upgrade to windows 10 route - however I was lazy one day and bought a $6 Windows 10 key off ebay - 12 months on so far so good lol.

I just managed to get Windows 8 Upgrade (essentially a full Operating System) to upgrade to Windows 10.
