Stupid ADAM.com.au - Treat loyalty customers like crap, GOODBYE for good!

Been with them for 5 years and was on $50/100GB now they have new low price for new customers $50/200GB. Thought they should do something for loyalty customers but they won't let me change to it so goodbye ADAM and no more referral!!! So future customer beware!!!
Now I'm on the hunt for new isp.
TPG unlimited is good deal but my concern is their customer service. Anyone in postcode 5008 with them please share your though & how reliable are they?

  • I hear you. I wish their plans kept up with the opposition and were automatically applied. TPG bitching on whirlpool freaks me out.

  • "We have elected to offer the new 200GB plan to existing customers under the following conditions.

    1. Any existing customers who are currently in contract (less than 24 months) will have that term removed and the new 24 months applied from the start of their next billing cycle.

    2. Any customers who currently have a contract exceeding 24 months would need to pay a contract reduction fee to access this plan."

    • +1

how funny they offer to others but not for me.
anyway they don't want my money, i'm happy to give to someone else.
      disconnected with them @oct.

      • Good on you for doing that. It's always a hassle to change suppliers, but in the end, it's worth it!

  • If you submit a feedback request they contact you and ask if you would like to update the deal - I'm currently debating whether to do it myself. (I only extended my contract last month though, although I've been with Adam for probably 10 years).

Check out that Whirlpool thread for more info.

I honestly would be very wary of switching to TPG. I hear nothing but complaints. Adam tend to be a little more, but the connection is rock solid and they have very good support. If you really want to switch, i'd look into another provider like Internode.
