Howdy peeps
I recently downgraded from a Canon 6DMII to 6DMI, whilst I had the former I was using the Canon compatible version of (www.amazon.com.au/Wireless-Transmitter-Panasonic-DMC-FZ50K-D…) which had all the features that I need, however it uses 2.5mm to 2.5mm cable from wireless receiver to camera.
The 6DMI uses the 3 pin shutter release port (www.ebay.com.au/itm/Timer-Remote-Shutter-Release-Cable-Cord-…), would it work if I just buy that to replace the existing? Would prefer to not have to buy another remote.

As a temporary solution, you can use your mobile phone as remote shutter.
