I got the XM3 for $275. Couldn't be happier. Remarkable battery life and NC. in February I also slept the whole way on a 15hr flight with them. Took them off during meal breaks and wow didn't realise how much background noise it cuts out. But hey no travelling now or anytime soon…

A friend who works at Sony gave me staff discount. Besides, you can find 'unwanted gift' or clean used on FB marketplace/ gumtree for probably $260-$300 mark. Cheapest i've seen on here I believe is $259 but other deals are $300+. Shame you can't do TRS now. Your best bet will be a legitimate second hand with receipt of purchase. Depends if you don't mind purchasing off marketplace / gumtree
