    Mine got shipped by Amazon earlier this afternoon, set to be delivered by Wednesday 30 September (Sydney Metropolitan area). I pre-ordered from Amazon thinking there would be no stock of the game at any retailers but after checking this afternoon it turns out EB Games/JB Hi-Fi/Harvey Norman all have plenty in stock!

    For those that received their order or a shipping confirmation, when did you order? I ordered on 9 September and still no confirmation of shipping yet..

    Not in a rush to get it but not a good indication for pre-ordering future games through Amazon.

              @kittymtd: I also ordered mine on the 9th of September. It has finally been shipped this morning and is expected to be delivered today also. Let's hope it does. I was very tempted to cancel and pick one up from JB-HI-FI over the weekend since stores still have plenty of stock. A little disappointed with this pre-order.

                @allosaur: Yeah I know what you mean. Main reason why I didn't cancel is I only paid $53.32 for the game and wasn't in a rush to get it, thought I'd use this as a test to see whether it's worth pre-ordering games through Amazon.

                Got an update that mine will be delivered today, so it is still within the original ETA when I purchased which was meant to be either yesterday or today. I chose Prime Expedited Delivery.

                  @kittymtd: Those are the exact same reasons why I went with Amazon. I had some credit so it only cost me $47 with prime expedited delivery. My experience with Amazon, other than this pre-order, have always been pretty positive so i had pretty high hopes.

                  @kittymtd: is the second time that amazon doesn't deliver in the release day, the first time was with Zelda links awakening… so if you are in a rush to play, never get from amazon!

    Mine arrived yesterday morning even though estimate was Thursday, postage time was pretty quick considering it wasn't dispatched until late Friday arvo.

    Mine is still not delivered, and apparently in postal Limbo. I don't blame AusPost for the issue (I'm in Melb) but since Amazon didn't even dispatch uintil Friday night, I'm pretty unhappy with that. They sent me an emaill lstating that the item might not arrive on release day, which I took to mean that they'd still send it before release day and the shipping may take a little longer.

      Mine was sent and delivered the same day on Tuesday. They used their own courier for the delivery. I agree that to minimise postal delays that are out of their control they should dispatch the game one or two days before the release date if they have them on hand.

      I just called them and (very politely) complained. They first told me that my projected delivery date was October 5th, and then I explained that this was not good enough for an item that I should have had on the 18th of September. They offered to stop the delivery and refund me, which I declined, as there was no point doing since the item might arrive tomorrow or anytime now, and so I asked them if there was anything else they could do. He spoke to his super and came back, offered me a $10 credit, which I accepted.

      COVID and AusPost aren't their fault, but you know, maybe actually ship a pre-order before the release date… it's not like the items aren't in the warehouse, so you'd think they'd be scheduled to ship items like this on a day before the release date.

      He also checked my Hyrule Warriors delivery date, which their system says to expect on 23-24th of November (20th is release date), so I might cancel that and go with JB instead….
