Blackstone Traditional 2 Seater Sofa $539.99 Delivered @ Costco (Membership Required)

I am starting to follow the costco website regularly and am impressed with some of the products. Came across this sofa which I think is a pretty good deal - especially considering that it has eucalyptus wood. I have a couple costco furniture items at home and the quality seems to be pretty good for the price and also delivered.
Hope this helps someone.

Whilst Costco usually sell high quality products, I'd want to see and feel a sofa before purchasing it.

fair point! They sometimes have these things on display.
Also remember, you can always return back to the warehouse, if you are not satisfied - I know its a bit of hassle, but might be worth the risk of buying something without looking at it.

      • i think you need to account for the delivery and return if in case you are not happy with the product as well

        • delivery is included. you can return for free if you can take it to the warehouse. Not sure if costco will pick up from home for a return - probably not.
Thats why I said - yes its a hassle, but might be worth the risk if you like what you see.

Rental furniture for $60 per year, now that's a bargain

        • Link please.

@ashm: thats supposed to be a joke :-) - considering that you could return the furniture to costco. Costco membership is $60 per year.
However, I have to mention that costco has changed their returns policy in the recent times, I know in the past they used to claim lifetime returns/ warranty, which is no longer the case. Costco warranty/ return times are now almost similar to any other brick and mortar stores, which really questions the value of paying $60 for the membership.
I however get the full value back from just fuel, so cant complain.

@Dealking: Yes it was a joke, but there still is lifetime returns at any time for most items, furniture included.

The T&Cs were updated 31 August 2020 to exclude electronic goods (now alongside already excluded items being jewelry, hearing aids, bullion, and special order).

            • @Dealking: I have seen people how they’re abusing the generous returns policy of Costco. It’s fair they updated it. Trust is a 2 way street.

This sofa looks exactly like the one Poppie pees on in Seinfeld - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zzZrctQcNf8&list=RDzzZrctQcN…

  • I've been waiting for a deal on sofa for apartment. I prefer a 3 seater but 2 seater will be ok too.

Do you know how it will compare with this?

    • I haven’t personally seen either of the two, but the one in your link says “futon”, which I am not really a big fan of. I believe the build quality of the Costco one should be good. Whether or not it is comfortable for you to sit on would be a very personal choice / opinion.
Sorry for not being much helpful.

      • Thanks, but what is Futon?

        • Futons in my opinion are the kind of light sofas where the backrest also can drop to convert into a bed. The pictures in your link don’t seem like it, maybe it’s just the name. Would be good to clarify with the store.
