Bought a couple years back for $80-ish. Very basic interface and a good starter buy if you want something cheap with phantom that doesn't have the latency of a mixer at the same price point. Be prepared to mess around with drivers for a bit since the website hasn't been updated in eons.

Don't quote me but I think only output one (TRS) can do passthrough/livemonitor, not at home to check though. Output 2 is stereo TS.

Currently using to drive a condenser mic over XLR and recording synth gear over the TRS in.

For an extra $2, you can also buy from an Australian website with free delivery: https://djcity.com.au/product/behringer-um2-audio-interface/

Might be worth it for some.

  • This looks like a decent deal and I know it's in the title on Amazon, but it's definitely not a MIDI interface.

    • Correct, no it doesnt have a std 5 pin midi din but uses usb a-b to connect to the pc as a midi device. :)

I think the only time MIDI is referenced on this model is in the description. I can't see any way for it to function as either a controller or slave MIDI device, nor do they advertise any.

  • UMC204HD $150 is better value imho, got it years ago.

  • Mine arrived in the mail today … given them a try with a Rode microphone i've had sitting around for years doing nothing.

    The sound is awesome!
