          For something that covers the full phone it seems ok, I know people paying $130 + for the same thing. Happy to wait if spigen have a full cover case, I hadn't noticed any before just the rear and side covers.

          I'm not buying **** unless the trade up app works anyway…. driving me mad!

            @ritzo90: FYI fr those persisting I am well over 20 attempts and I eventually got through. It does not stop there, every bump along the road to actually entering the supplied trade in code (didn't work for another hour) required support or just waiting it out. It was the worst experience I have ever had with trade ins… though its consistent with the other things this year…

            Anyway rant over, I don't know if this helped or not but I might have fibbed, the question i answered differently that time was to say yes to "the case is genuine, free from bends cracks or other defects". I have no idea if this is the chassis of the phone or the rear glass (casing as I would call it) so I said yes this time but the back is just a smashed as the front.

            This was a s8 with a smashed front and back. I tried a perfectly good s9 about 5 times with all the boxes ticked but i really think it's a insanity app, try try try again…..

          I told them I haven't received the return package and asked if they could resend, and they said it was sent 25 September and there's delays in Victoria so just to keep waiting.. I got my S20 FE on Monday.

    My Samsung S7 is currently rooted and I've got Note 8 ROM installed, so Samsung trade up app is detecting Note 8.

    Does anyone know what the trade in value for S7 in mint condition is? Does the app detect that it is rooted?

    I can reinstall the original rom via Odin but if the app is going to detect root, then no point in trying.

      I prefer a flip case. Protects the screen fro scratches in a pocket and I can carry a currency note and myki in it. Don't have to bother with a screen protector and I get a stand for media viewing. Note I don't put cards in the card slot because the card edges can scratch a screen over time. Downside is a thicker phone plus case but for e the benefits outweigh that.

    Dear all…I am contemplating to purchase between S20FE 4G and S20FE5G (both 128 GB) from the samsung store. The difference is around $130. Do you think its worth to spend this extra only for the snapdragon chipset. I dont care for 5G or 4G are 4G is fast enough for me. I am not a huge user of phone and only use basic tasks and no gaming at all. Can you please advise shall I buy the 5G snapdragon or the normal exonys 4G. Thanks

      one major difference between snapdragon or exonys is battery life which 1 hr in usage according to youtube review, if you don't game then save $130 for Samsung care+ in case you want to change phone during 2 years

      I doubt you'd notice for ordinary use. I couldn't be bothered myself - only the 8GB RAM would have been nice, but then you'd have to go for the even more expensive 256GB model. I checked RAM usage on my current phone, and don't get near 4GB, let alone more than that. Maybe for gaming it matters, don't know.

      Yes, there is a major difference in performance between Exynos and Snapdragon. Buy the 5G version.

      I never received the $50 voucher email either (tried outlook and gmail). Just hop onto their live chat and tell them you didn't get it and they'll generate a code for you.

    Can some one please suggest me if its really worth to buy Samsung care for half price? I have education account and its cheaper just to buy phone with $50 voucher. On the other hand, on Samsung store, we get free buds Yes but Samsung care half price is it worth? Which Overall is better to buy: Is that education store or Samsung Store?

    Can we later sell the buds in original packaging?

    Writing this on my 5g fe and I must tell you it's such an amazing device. Works butterly smooth and doesn't get warm at all compared to my friend's 4g fe which does warn up a bit. Been installing apps and bringing my stuff over since morning and it's still standing at 58% which is just unreal. Super duper glad with it.

      That is bcz since Oct 8th Samsung has increased the prices on education store by extra $80. Earlier discount was 20% now only seems 15%. They know device is popular and they are still getting orders. So does 4g which was $799 on Education store now $879.

        Hey, can I ask when did this pre-order deal end? I saw the original price and the price go up. Didn't buy at the $919.20 price for the 5G 128GB because I was waiting for that promotional email sign-up voucher, which I had to ask for (didn't come in 48 hours as specified). So annoyed. This and the frustrating Microcodes promotion has me a bit reluctant to buy from Samsung AU.

        Fits well and not bulky at all. Looks good and gives good grip but does pick up a bit of dust.
