Cash Back Popups?

So, I am always up for a bargain. (Why else would I be here?) As such, I have installed the browser extensions for CashRewards, Shopback, Qantas Points, and the Amazon assistant (although it seems to default to the US catalog/prices. Did I miss any? I have given up on "Honey" - tried it several times, and it would usually come up with a worse deal than I would get with one of the others.

But… Always getting those pop-ups is a pain. Particularly, if say I go to the telstra website to look at their "Crowdsupport forum" - they will still offer me a cashback (on new purchases only, and I have been with them for over a decade).

Is anyone aware of anything that will better manage those. i.e. position them in other corners, iconize them, etc.

I don't use any of those extensions for that reason.

I just have a Post-it note on my monitor "DON'T FORGET CASHBACK".

Install a browser that you use just for cashback purposes. Leaving your main browser for your other needs.

    • Some browsers (like Chrome) allow you to create profiles (such as another user) and set that user up with its own extensions

I just use the official OzBargain browser extension for Chrome and for Firefox. It does not notify you about deals or cashbacks until you click on the OzB icon, i.e. it does not sniff around the URL of your current tab until you tell it to. It then gives you one single popup showing current deals, coupons and cashbacks related to this store.

    • Had no idea this existed. Should be a deal Scotty!
