International Postage to Germany; Alternatives to Auspost?

Hi

Is there a better way to post to Germany / International other than Auspost? Should be reliable and cheaper :-)

Cheers

Hi OP, for international shipping I have been using Fedex quite a few times for parcels/documents to Hong Kong and Shanghai. More expensive than Auspost but it gets to destination within 3-4 days (not even business days). Using Auspost would have taken 3-4 weeks. So yea there's a trade off for reliability, timing and price.

  • Any company that does not have their own fleet of aircraft would have trouble right now.

A letter took 40 calendar days to get to Melbourne from the UK.

If you need it to go there quick you are going to have to pay for it.

  • Aus Post is not too bad. I had a parcel sent via the cheapest postage to Singapore in about 7 business days. This was earlier this month. No doubt postage at aus post was expensive but DHL would cost twice the price.

  • Would like to know too re sending a iPhone to my son in Denmark?
