Not many 4k 60 FPS capture cards out there. Most of the cheaper USB3 ones only record at 1080p 60fps.
Was looking for a capture card deal but this one is a little too much haha
as somebody who went through $1200 of capture cards a few years ago i'd check any review that checks for frame drops, in the past even 1080 60fps capture cards didn't actually capture at 60fps, some of the ones i picked up (elgato hd60, avermedia, razer ripsaw) struggled to capture without frame drops, some struggling to even hold 50fps. the only capture card i could find that would capture at 60fps consistently was the Micomsoft xcapture-1.
curious to think, at this price point, wouldn't it be better to pick up an atomos recorder or black magic design video assist for a few more hundred.
Atomos just released their own capture card.
