No idea on stock but a bargain if you can find it. Should be pretty easy to give the staff the SKU if you’re ringing stores.

It is a bit messy at first glance, I imagine they're looking at simplifying it.
Game Pass is stupidly good value if you haven't played for a while, and they're adding EA's Play catalogue on top.
Although it’s great value, like most things it keeps going up in price. Live Gold to Ultimate is a jump of $5/mth, which is a 33% increase. While it doesn’t seem like a lot, and the extras they’re adding in are well worth it (e.g. EA Play), that’s still another $60/yr on the monthly subscription. I feel sorry for those who are stuck paying full RRP all the time (think grandparents buying for their grandkids). Thank goodness we have places like OzB where we can find ways of purchasing at a lower price! :)

But some girl must have some power hit last time i was in there i tried to get an item price matched with amazon and said dont price online store lol. That's a first i decided not to bother trying another store as no longer wanted.I go there today and asked about these xbox cards girl is talking with someone taking ages then comes up to me saying we cant sell them as they go if purchased with new xbox.
Probably the same manager that said no to price match before.
I explained that others was buying these no problems but they said not us. Honesty i go to my local for convenience and less distance but why there acting these days is putting me off.I then called other store they did not have any, so i called another store and they said they had so kept them for me
The guy did try to say there is not such thing as 12 months xbox live etc lol.
But if he looks up there site they still sell 12 months subs.But im curious what is different to this than the normal 12 months sub they sell and has anyone used them and worked ok.
Obviously i planning on getting the max i can use and then hopefully able to use the $1 ultimate deal if still on my account.

Great timing. My son's free month of Game Pass Ultimate expired today.
I picked up last 2 at Oxley and 1 at Garden City using 5% Suncorp eGift cards and redeemed back under my account.
Unfortunately, no matter what I tried I couldn't upgrade for a $1 to Game Pass Ultimate, I assume because I had done it before?!
Had to pay $15.95 once off. Subscription says got Game Pass Ultimate until 24/10/2023 so I think it's good. Recurring billing is turned off.Therefore total for me was $49.95 x 3 - 5% + 15.95 = $158.31. Still worth it.

@Sidog: It was complaining when I tried to add the 3rd 12 month with recurring billing on to get a free month, so had to turn it off. Anyhoo, I'm still happy, cheers.

You're entering the code for the special halo trinket thing, not the 12 month code.
Yep was told by another member its in same place where scratch off is. Never thought there was another code there i thought that was it lol.
But am all good now though jb sold me wrong ones.

I’m just making sure before I move forward that my Xbox account has the $1 ultimate upgrade offer, it’s never been used or tried by me.
As mentioned already I have now added 36 months of Xbox game live and it’s as easy as taking that $1 offer adding a payment and done.
It will not ask silly questions or show I get less months for my ultimate vs live.
If it does then the $1 offer has expired or would it just not show in my account anymore.
I just want to be sure that I get 36 months for 36 months how do you know you get this will it say prior or it does not show and then too late.

Yes it is as easy as doing the $1 offer.
It will say what the rate live will be transferred at to ultimate during the process of using the $1 offer. I think you put a payment method in then it shows what the rate is then asks you to confirm the subscription (I think. I cannot exactly remember)
I suppose as long as you don't hit the subscribe button it won't use the offer. But if you have said your account is as you say it is (e.g. no trial on game pass done before/no active game pass subscription/36 months of live redeemed on your account) then you'll be fine.
It says on the upgrade page I linked you before at the bottom which outlines the benefits and differences between the two better than I would do.
All good and done, im just curious having passed down all consoles to my kids daughter uses xbox 360 is there any benefit from using or getting xbox gold for the 360 if possible.
Back in the day can't remember having it or if was free was so long ago.
But this card i got for upgrading to ultimate might be worth it but maybe not for xbox gold for xbox 360 being that's dated now.Just thought it might benefit her by having it or better with something different than this.
She is into that Minecraft stuff a lot lol.I don't think you can use game pass ultimate on xbox 360, I think that still uses gold live. I think Gold live would only be useful for playing online on 360.

Went to
VIC Nunawading - Told none in stock.
VIC Forest Hill - Went to Counter with $49.95 Image, asked the girl if they had any Left.
She talked to someone over their phone type intercom system.
Guy comes over and I show him the $49.95 image.
And I tell him I want 3No. at $49.95, as you can only load up to 36 weeks and then covert to ultimate for a $1.00.
He goes away and comes back with 4No. That is 4No. only.
The Guy starts to say you might as well take all 4 as they are really cheap. (I presume to get rid of these 2015 stock).
In a spur of the moment that I actually found some, I forgot you can only use 3No. until you need your subscription to lapse.
So I found myself purchasing all four.
So please don't hold it against me. I made a mistake. I will be giving it to family or friends for face value.

HAHA true Ozbarginers are selling the metallic trading cards on ebay. I got 1 x Master Chief and 2 x Spartan Locke. Gave them to my son as he's great at throwing playing cards. These things seem like they could really do some damage.
I was a little worried about this, I added 36 months of Xbox Live Gold to account. When I went to click through to do $1 upgrade it said 1 month at $1 then $15.95 a month.
Just to confirm though, when viewing account page the $15.95 is charged at the end of those 36 months

Question. If you have upgraded to Ultimate (there's a Halloween deal atm $1 for 1 month Ultimate) and then you still have Xbox Live Gold 12 mths code, can you then apply this code to Ultimate (effectively 13 mths)?
Converting/adding Gold after you already have an Ultimate subscription will convert it at the lower rate of 12months Gold = 4 months Ultimate. You should add the 12 months gold first and then upgrade it to get 13 months (You'll still get the additional month for $1).
I'm new to the Xbox scene and haven't managed to find any of the bargain 12 month sub cards. Is it still worth buying at full price and taking advantage of the $1 upgrade to Ultimate for 3 years or are there always sales on Xbox membership?
There is speculation that Microsoft will eventually discontinue the 12 month sub cards or stop the 1:1 conversion promo. These sales on local cards are also pretty rare, just buy it if you need it, or use the VPN trick.

Microsoft have stopped selling them via their online store. Plenty available from other retailers for now

So I bought 12 months of XBOX live gold today from JB-Hifi for $79.
I looked at the option of upgrading but it says it will charge me $1 for the first month, then $15.95 (lets say $16) for every month after that. So if I choose to upgrade, this is going to cost me $1 + ($16 * 11) = ~$177 (plus my initial $79 purchase) for 12 months of XBOX live gold ultimate … right?
No, they mean $16 for your next renewal which will be after 12+1 months. It will cost you only $1 (plus $79 initial)
