        Yes they are the last place on earth i wanted to buy from believe me, but after sinking about 6 hours in to trying to get a console i was ecstatic i even got to order one. Yep well there goes that.

        I ordered on the 12th at 3:32pm and received an email saying:

        *"We'll let you know when your order confirmation no. XXXXXXXXX is ready for pickup

        Thanks for your order, XXXX! We'll email you as soon as your order is ready for pickup. Your tax invoice will be emailed separately."*

        When i emailed and asked why my order was refunded i got told:

        "Our sincerest apologies. There must have been an error in our stock that allowed for this order to b placed. There seems that there was no actual stock avaliable. "

    I was looking at Fifa 21 Ultimate Edition… 149.95 on PS store, 79.95 at JB

    Glad I went disc edition, going digital edition is crazy

      i agree. i feel its justified to spend the extra $150 to get the disc version as you will easily save that over the long run (imo).

      Nobody can guarantee that it will ship early, it might not. But it's happened to plenty of other people so it is a real possibility. If you have the funds now but you're worried about not having funds later, you could always buy Amazon gift cards and apply them to the purchase to pre-pay it (that's what I often do, but that's because I can get 3% off Amazon gift cards through Suncorp.)

        So I just add the gift cards to my account? And it will automatically deduct the balance from them? Even if I have cc info saved to my account?

          Don't tinker with your order. A lot of folks including me had a glitch in their order status after adding gift cards, changing payment method or by changing shipping times.

          Just for reference on any future purchases, since you're holding off on this one as per smarter_fool's advice, after adding the gift card to Amazon (under My Account there's an option for adding Gift cards to your balance), you have to go into your order via view/edit and there's a button you can click on to apply your gift card balance to your order.

        Target facebook indicated they were "waiting for stock" a day or so ago. I don't think Target have any on hand and will wait for next shipment confirmation.

    Question, anyone here order from Vodafone?
    Did you guys get some sort of e-mail confirmation?
    Vodafone says it'll come through via e-mail (order made yesterday) but nothing yet.
    They also weren't able to provide an order number. Worried they'll over-commit somehow.

      Got my disc edition order confirmed from voda on Friday morning.
      They sent me a email of the proof of purchase (including my order number) and also a SMS for tracking the order. Btw my tracking status shows 'waiting for more stock' so guess they won't have more consoles ready to ship till mid Dec.

      In my email they say if anything about the order just call on 1300 650 410 8am to 8pm AEST Mon to Fri or 8am to 5.30pm AEST on weekend

    So I emailed Amazon today, to confirm that it is ok to be shipped to a parcel locker. They didn't answer my question.

    But they did say this "Upon checking I can see that your order is already in advance shipping stages and set to dispatch on Wednesday, 16 December 2020 to be delivered by Estimated Delivery Date: Friday, 18 December 2020."

          I’m in the same boat as both of you after changing delivery to express. I was on live chat today. The customer service rep said they still have stock. Stock is still secured for me and that I should receive an email within 3 business days. Fingers crossed but not holding my breath.

      I actually asked Amazon when I spoke to them initially about my shipping date as my mate is after one too. Amazon told me pretty matter of factly it won't be this year.

            @HasuSeyo: I changed mine from expedited to priority, then back to expedited, shortly after I ordered. All it did was go from 19th to 18th and back to 19th.

      Update to my comment below, mine was always 18th December, went to "we'll email you". I called Amazon, here is there response:

      "We expect to ship your order in time to be delivered by Arriving: Friday, December 18.

      Your order could ship any time between now and the delivery date."

          I got my order confirmation email at 9:07am on the 12th and I am a Prime member. I think it appears to be random that people get allocated an earlier delivery as I saw people that ordered after me saying they are getting them as early as today…. believe the only difference is that their's was a digital console…not sure that the digital is as popular as they expected. they may have more of this stock to allocate, given that digital orders are being fulfilled with disc consoles, which is frankly annoying.

    Got the dispatch notification at around 3.00 pm today from Amazon. The order was placed at 9.00 am on 12th and I did not try to change the shipping speed. Expected delivery by 25th November. Yay.

      There wasn't any option to pay using gift cards oddly. I tested this with other random items too so might be a problem on their side.
