Sony WF1000XM3 Yay or Nay?

They're $250 and have pretty good reviews. I know jack shit about earphones. I want sound quality.

I have a pair and I am extremely happy with their sound quality. You will not be dissapointed.

I have a pair of these. Sound quality is great, fit is not. I know it won't be the same for everyone but I have to constantly adjust so they don't fall out. Unless you specifically want earphones I'd recommend getting their headphones instead.

  • The only thing stopping me getting these is the size of the case. I hope the next revision brings it inline with other brands sizes.

  • Quality is dope but they are a touch chunky on the ear unless you are dumbo. I would pull the trigger at $250 no doubt just for the travelling/NC facet of them

    • I don't like how chunky they are either. This listing is for $185 https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Genuine-Sony-WF-1000XM3-Truly-Wi…
Should I buy them or go for retail? big price difference.

      • I'd do it. Assuming though a new model is to drop. Practically over looks is valid as well. They saved me in a flight recently by drowning out a group of babies on a flight

  • They are currently $179 on the ebay seconds store https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Sony-WF1000XM3B-Seconds-Wireless…
Recently were $152.15 on sale which I bought them for.

They are pretty good, was thinking of sending them back because call quality was not as good as I hoped. However, after consideration the sound quality is just too good and probably worth $150 on its own. $250 is probably too much IMO
I do need to keep pushing them back in my ears sometimes, wouldnt use them for running. Settings on the Sony app keep changing for some reason.

  • Pretty good as something you just stash away in your bag and then use it when it gets too loud in the office/train etc.

Worth $250 if you can find your use case scenario.

  • Bad fit is a real downside that's my pet peeve with most earbuds I've owned.

    • well you should try them on before buying.

  • Maybe add a poll to "help" with your decision?
