I got 3x of the Kmart ones for $10ea, they do the job with 18W USB-C PD

  •

Would this work with Apple MagSafe?

    •

Yes and no. Works fine but for full speed you need 20W from Apple directly.

iPhone 12 can only charge up to 15W. So, 18W or 20W should make no difference, no?

        •

Yeah that's what we expect but there seem to be some "smarts" imbedded into the magsafe that limits based on certain charger - "Some third-party chargers may work, but those chargers need to be PD 3.0 compatible with specific voltage and amperage output". This one is PD 3.0 however cannot confirm with certainity it meets Apple's requirements.

          Check the MacRumours article.

hi op, do you have any display port cable for sale? thx

  •

Would this super fast charge Note 20 ultra 5g

    •

Note is capable of accepting 25w so there's a shortfall, here

    •

It will fast charge it but the note 20 can do 25w charging

  •

Sorry if I am asking too much but I only after the traditional usb charger (i have no type-C to type-C cable), @Op Do you know if we have any available deal?

    •

this has a type A port

      18W USB-A QC3.0 Port: 5V/3A, 9V/2A, 12V/1.5A

      •

Yeah I know but will lose one port… I would like to have at least 2 so me and my wife dont have to fight :D

        • +1 vote

Try the Anko Chargers at Kmart. The 3 port has to standard USB-A ports to cover you and your wife, and a USB-C port if you ever get a device with one.

  •

If you plug two devices in, do they charge at 9w + 9w?

    • +2 votes

      From their product page

When using two ports simultaneously, the max power is 15W

Kinda ambiguous, but its either got to be 15W (it does have a 5V3A profile) each or 7.5w + 7.5w, can't be 9w + 9w.

      •

Hmm ok. I think I’m better off with a 30w dual plug then.

        •

          It would be 2x 15w

There’s a tear down somewhere of another dual port blitzwolf charger and it’s basically two separate chargers inside the case, only limited by thermals hence 2x 15w or 1x 18w
