If you don't mind non-retina text, it is ok.
The extra space i.e., being able to have two browser windows side-by-side is at the expense of loss of clarity in the text sharpness.
The pixel density is only about 110 PPI.
The only monitor this wide and close to retina pixel density is LG 34WK95U-W and that's like $2000 (if you can actually find it anywhere in stock).

Got mine for $479 around Prime day from ebayplus/xiaomi official store.. Use it purely for WFH and over my previous 2x24" setup using this is a delight with excel spreadsheets, side by side works great when you need it, highly recommend! Still have my 2x24"s hooked up for a tri monitor setup, one in portrait mode for a4 docs. Wish I could justify buying another one to use, stacked one on the other would be nice, but don't know how the 1660ti would handle it.
