Laminate Benchtops delivered in Melbourne?

Is there a site where I can just buy a benchtop online and get it delivered to me (not Bunnings (their benchtops are expensive, so is delivery) and not IKEA (have one currently, it's too shallow)

Need to use one as a desk top as my current one is too shallow for my monitor and mouse.

Every site seems to just say call for quote call for quote.
I just want to order one and get it delivered.

Any idea?
Thanks all.

They're generally custom made to size hence the call for a quote on all the sites.

$78 for 2000 x 600mm doesn't seem expensive to me, what size and price are you thinking of?

    $59 for 1860 x 635mm https://www.ikea.com/au/en/p/lilltraesk-worktop-white-lamina…

    • Sorry I'm looking for 800mm width minimum

Just find a kitchen wholesaler. They usually will sell benchtops by the length (I used to just buy the fullsize 3600mm and cut to size)

I work in the industry in QLD, and, as yippy said, benchtops are custom made, lots of choice of brands, colours, finish, thicknesses. You might need mitre joints, laminated ends, etc. How long is a piece of string and all that. Also manufacturers sell predominantly to trade and tradies will usually want a quote first.

So draw a dimensioned plan view drawing of what you require and email it to a couple of local postformed laminate benchtop manufacturers Google search.

However, considering its intended use as a desk top, an actual laminate benchtop is probably overkill for what you need.

You probably only need 25mm thick melamine board (MDF substrate) edged all round.

Google for a cut-to-size board business. If you're not fussy on colour, they will probably have some offcuts and can do a deal. White will be the cheapest.

    • Thank you for taking the time to write such a detailed response. Appreciate you
