Gift for the Pro 7 is a bag or car charger I assume the other gifts are similar.

Pro 7 i3, 4GB Ram, 128GB HD $974
Pro 7 i5, 8GB Ram, 128GB HD $1169.00
Pro 7 i5, 8GB Ram, 256GB HD $1559.00
Pro 7 i5, 16GB Ram, 256GB HD $1829.00

Also Remember Cashback and Amex $80 back from $400 spend if you were targeted for that.
Microsoft appears to be offering extra Trade in value.

Also they mention on this page that its the "best price of the season. If you find Microsoft Store offers a better price on a product purchased at Microsoft Store between now and Jan 3, 2021, we’ll refund the difference."

I purchased the Pro 7 i5 8GB for $1199.20, less the $80 Amex Deal. Trade in on my Surface Pro 4 is apparently $378.75. So Total cost will be $740.45 less the small cashback.

This is part of Black Friday / Cyber Monday deals for 2020

Combine with Amex Cashback. They have no questions asked returns till end of Jan for full refund if you don't like their product.

    • Is the amex deal still open?

      • Yup. Expires 22nd Dec.

        • Thanks. I'm sure these are nice but the config I want gets super expensive so I'll pass

Hmm the type cover and the pen are not "accessory".
    And they seem overpriced.

They’re 22% off now - matching Harvey Norman

    • HN has discounted type cover and pen too.

    • Thanks. Updated.

  • Surface pro 7 or one of the new Dell Inspiron 2 in 1 with 11th gen i5 (with iris xe)?

  • Had problems with surface pro freezing, I think it's a thermal design issue with its passive cooling crashed happen more on some units than others
Went through about 4 replacements before they gave an active cooled model

Called Microsoft and they were unable to price match Harvey Norman's price on the accessories (Keyboard/Pen). Ended up buying the Surface itself through Microsoft for the free cover and the rest through HN.
    Thanks a bunch!

    • Which configuration you went with?

      • The i5 8GB 128GB.
It's for my wife who is into drawing and wants to try digital art. She uses just over ~40GB of storage at the moment and an extra $390 for the 256GB model seems like highway robbery. :)

        • Agree, for another 128GB, $390 is a joke. Better to get another 256GB memory card for much cheaper price and expand the storage.

          • @buddysayshi: I agree. The pricing of extra RAM and storage is always extortionate. The same i5 with 16GB RAM and 256GB is $1829! $660 for an extra 8GB of Ram and 128GB's of storage is just crazy.

            • @Kajain: Can’t agree more. I am thinking of buying the same configuration as you with Amex offer.

              • @buddysayshi: Best of luck, @BuddySaysHi!
I rang around but none of my family had an Amex card. :D

                • @Kajain: Thank you very much. Hope you guys enjoy your Surface Pro 7.

  • Even after trade-in the price is still high :( after the surface laptop with 16GB

  • Just wondering how to split payment on microsoft online store…
should i buy $400 worth of Ms giftcard on my mian amex card and pay at checkout with these giftcards + my companion card?

    cheers.

    • I don't see why this wouldn't work! I was thinking of doing the same thing

  • surface pro 8 with many improvements only couple months away why buying this one?
