I was confused when you said cat. Yeah there's definitely lighter carry on bags as this is a hard shell case, hence why I've been using it for roadtrips requiring overnight.

Yes, these wheeled carry-on cases are a dumb idea just about anywhere except the US, these days, for economy-class travellers.
