I assume these activate on Epic rather than ubiplay or whatever ubi's platform is? Otherwise the season pass might be a nice add-on to existing owners after coupon :-/ still not bad for owners of the base game on Epic, just not useful for those who got it free with a GPU or bought direct
I think even if you buy on Epic it will register it with UPlay and then you do not need Epic anymore. But not 100% sure so please google for verification.

If you buy a ubisoft game on Epic, it will appear in the ubisoft connect (formerly Uplay) library rightaway. Then you can install and play it from there. You'll have access to the ubisoft in game features and dlc.
I bought this and Origins yesterday, it says right in the Epic library, "requires Ubisoft activation", wants you to sync your accounts before it even installs.

Gold seems well worth it to grab AC III remastered (one of the weaker games according to reviews, but even with the coupon costs $15 by itself in this sale) along with the DLC.
Ultimate doesn't seem worth it at $5 for some in game gear on top of gold.
