    WOW FREE!

    price pls

This one from last month will be hard to beat (3700x, 3070 for $1688):

My wallets’ waiting in hope though!

    • I think this is it for 2020, won't get that deal again.

    • +10

Spending almost $400 more for a worse specced system. This isn't really a deal

      • With the code it comes down to $1,948 which is ~$275 more, but as you say with the lower CPU (3600 vs previous 3700x)

I’m sure this is probably the best deal you can get at the moment, but not the best it’s been.

      • Price wise its defni more but specs wise it isn't that much different is it?. Is the Ryzen 7 3700x that much more superior to the Ryzen 5 3600?.

        • I have been wanting to purchase a pc do yo think this is the one? Or should I wait.

Not sure you thought that through

Would it scare you to find out that he in fact did think it through? 😀

      • I watched home alone last night

    • That's a stretch, jeez…

Looking for a sub $1200 PC that can run Cyberpunk. Preferably with GTX 2070

    $3000+??? Lol no!

3080 Ti waiting squad assemble here

    • 3080 ti will cost above $2000, over my budget

      • The 3090 is beautiful but price to performance the 3080 is ideal for me.

The 3080 Ti might hurt a little less price to performance wise but we shall see

    • Waiting Sir!

Urk. $3570 by the time you put in a useful motherboard (one with Wifi), make it 32gb of ram and replace the turd SSD with an NVME (where the hell is the drive-less option?)…

Definitely buying and building it myself. At $3570, even allowing $1400 pricejack for a 3080, it looks too expensive.

    • how much do you reckon the build is worth/should cost at this point in time then?

      • +7

Well I'm not going to do a pcpartpicker when it's clear that $2200 for everything but gfx is steep.

"This point in time" isnt quite right. Anyone after these parts had been waiting and watching because you had no other choice due to stock issues.

Here's what I've been eyeing off for myself, all of which has been a price available in the last fortnight:

I could have bought the cpu for $670 on Amazon
The ram for $270 (2x16gb 3600 cl16 neo trident, shopping express)
The mobo for $380 (aorus pro wifi x570, ebay)
        PSU $150 (take your pick)
        Nvme $110 (Kingston)
        Case $200 (take your pick)
Cpu cooler $150 (noctua d15, newegg)

$1260 is <<< $2200! Even paying full price for each component suggests that techfast is way too steep.

And $1260 is for far better quality components than techfast are offering.

I feel that TechFast could do better deal than these; I was expecting their Boxing day deal to be better than BF/CM, boy I was wrong.

  • +2

I'd wait to see if Techfast post an ozBargain deal/coupon. The standard sales on their website are never worthwhile. These prices are not good but I think they'll have something for us.

  • Is it worth waiting for the 5600 non x with the 3070? 🤔

  • Can't even order the 3080 one, there's no case in stock and no option to change it to something else

  • Ordered this deal 25 November and still waiting on 3080. I'm regretting having gone with this deal. Has anyone received their order who ordered after this date? If I have to wait till the end of January I'll be be very disappointed.

  • Would also be good if techfast sent you an email stating that they have received all parts and have started building to give you hope. I also hope that my PC is already built and just needs the 3080 plugged in and shipped asap.

  • Deal not worth it. I ordered a preorder 3080. I didn't expect to wait 2 months for my pc. If I knew this I would have ordered else where. Their backlog is god knows how long. Very disappointed customer.

  • Luke am I able to get a full refund? I'm not happy with Techfast.

  • I have spoken with Luke and I'm just going to wait. Hopefully get in January.
