Your Best OzBargain Deal of 2020

Hi all and happy new year to you.

I was reflecting on 2020 and thought what was the best Ozbargain deal I managed to bag. So for me, it was the "50% off RRP Pirelli Tyres Online @ Mycar Tyre & Auto", saving me over $400 on badly needed tyres.

What was your best deal?

Thanks to all the posters and here's looking forward to a bargain filled 2021

    • That is a decent setup.

I am aiming for something similar just a step up in all categories.

      Ryzen 7 5800X or Ryzen 5 5600X

      32GB RAM or 64GB RAM

      4TB SSD + 24TB HDD

      RTX 3080 TI

No overclocking keeping everything at stock clocks but aftermarket cooler maybe for the cpu.

Hoping Luke from Tech Fast brings out something similar but I know I will have to add my own extra stuff compared to whatever he decides to advertise.

With this setup I shouldn't have to upgrade anything for at least 5-7 years minimum might even make it to 10 years before the next upgrade.. I thought about the 3090 but unless it comes down quickly I doubt I can stomach the poor price/performance ratio compared to a 3080 TI that is as far as I will go.

Yeah should be no hiccups with that setup.

4K 60HZ with max settings for a long time.

2020 seemed pretty quiet to me, but I had a look at my votes. My pick would be the NSW Planning free trees because I got to chat to a couple Ozbargainers while picking them up.

When I stumbled across Airpod Pro's for $275 and posted it. Not so much for the deal but because it was so exhilarating having such a successful first post after using ozbargain daily for years. HNY community
