Herman Miller Aeron Chair Remastered, Graphite, Size B $1690 + $80 Delivery/Pickup in Sydney @ Living Edge

910

Been eyeing these for a while trying to find a reasonable deal. Not as good as it has been in the past but considering the last decent price on these was from 2017 i bit the bullet and ordered one

If you plan on getting delivery however you can order from https://www.sitbackandrelax.com.au/aeron-chair-by-herman-mil… instead and delivery ends up a bit cheaper.

  • I was keen on the leap v2 instead but after testing it, yes it was a bit more comfy especially the padded seat but the fabric was not very good looking and the chair looked very plasticky. Also my back was getting warm quickly.
The aeron looks very premium and is very comfortable too. I prefer the lean function of the aeron but the cushioned seat of the leap.

A mix of both would have been perfect.

I ended up with the aeron, hopefully I made the good choice.

    • having to make a similiar choice at the moment.

only tried both chair quickly in the shops and initial feeling was leap is more comfortable due to the padding.

Any regrets after getting the aeron?

I was having regrets for the first week as I found it quite uncomfortable and it was giving me some sore bum but I read it was your body getting used to it. So I gave it a try and now I can't sit on my previous crappy chair anymore without getting back pain.
Something related to having to sit properly I guess and some of my muscle were not used to it.
Now I find it super comfy!

        Definitely recommends!
My partner has also decided to get one for her.

Let me know if you have any specific questions.

        • How long did it take for them to deliver to you?

          • @Saiya: I picked it up from their warehouse in Sydney maybe 15min after buying it. I was lucky they had it in stock.

        • Do you ever sit crossed legged on the chair? does that work with the aeron?

          • +1

@Darkshrimp: I don't sit on my legs anymore as it hurts which is probably a good thing for my posture.
I don't even think about sitting like this where with my previous chair I was doing it very often.
However you can sit and cross legs without issues. Both my partner and myself do it from times to times.

  • Hi all, just wondering how is Living Edge with warranty claims for those living interstate without a physical Living Edge store ie South Australia. Thanks.

  • If anyone else is from SA, & Living Edge recommended to me that I buy from Estilo as they're a related business (I think?) & they can do the size B there for the same price (so no delivery fee if you pick up from Estilo's warehouse in Adelaide)

Thanks for the post OP just purchased. I have been wanting to get an Aeron for over 20 years now. I was thinking about buying one while I still had my first proper gaming PC which was an AthlonXP2400 but could not justify the price at the time.

Since March 2020 working from home I could feel I was getting more and more uncomfortable in my current chair everyday.

I've had my current high back mesh Officeworks chair for about 10 years. The bottom seat foam is now just flat so it feels like sitting on a wooden bench.

Got an email purchase confirmation from Sit Back and Relax but looks like lead time is 7-10 working days which I'm not impressed about. I think I'm just spoilt with Amazon Prime delivery times.

  • Are these good for kids?

  • Ends 31/01 (tmrw) I believe.
